Question:
Where is ‘Najd’ which appears in the Hadith?
Answer
‘Najd’ generally refers to any highland. In the Hadith which mentions that fitnah and trials will spread from Najd, the Commentators explain that this refers to those ares on the Eastern side of Madinah Al Munawwarah around the outskirts of ‘Iraq. It does not refer to a specific place.
(Refer: Fathul Bari, under Hadith: 7094)
In fact, Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah) has recorded the Hadith which discusses fitnah emerging from Najd under the chapter ‘Trials will appear from the East’.
(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 7092)
And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.

Some people try to indicate that this Hadith Refer to Imam Muhammed ibn Abdel Wahab and that is completely False. Imam Muhammed ibn Abdel Wahab was one of the great Imams in Islam
