Christianity Contradicts the Bible!

The Bible has been rejected by the Church when it comes to Jewish laws of Circumcision and observance of the Sabbath, but these are the very laws that Jesus practiced, as they were revealed by God, yet no Christian follows it today, the Law and the Prophets (Matthew 5:17-20)

The Essenes observed the Torah, the Nazarenes observed the Torah; they were rightly called the true Christians before the Pauline heresy took place. Where are the practical teachings of Jesus in the “Christian” countries today? Where is the Law of the Bible found in “Christian” lands? Why aren’t adulterers stoned to death?

No, they have abandoned the Bible’s teachings of physical prayer, fasting, and mandatory Laws revealed by God. The Christians should be called Paulians, because they neither follow the Gospel of Jesus, but their salvation threads upon the Gospel of Paul.

What is the significance for our faith and for our religious life, the fact that the Gospel of Paul is different from the Gospel of Jesus?

The attitude which Paul himself takes up towards the Gospel of Jesus is that he does not repeat it in the words of Jesus, and does not appeal to its authority…. The fateful thing is that the Greek, the Catholic, and the Protestant theologies all contain the Gospel of Paul in a form which does not continue the Gospel of Jesus, but displaces it.”

(Albert Schweitzer, The Quest for the Historical Jesus,)

Christianity contradicts the Bible, it says “Do not be like the pagans” (Matthew 6:8) yet they celebrate Christmas, which is entirelya pagan festival(Jeremiah 10:2-5)

The Bible requires the Acceptance of Islam, it orders fasting and physical prayer, it teaches the Oneness of God and rejects the trinity, it contains prophecies of Muhammad’s (pbuh) life and mission; it promotes the religion of Islam (Isaiah 58:3-7, Matthew 7:21)

There is no saviour besides GOD:

I, [even] I, [am] the LORD; and beside me [there is] no saviour. (Isaiah 43:11)

Yet I [am] the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for [there is] no saviour beside me. (Hosea 13:4)

And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. (Luke 1:47)

These verses refute the Christian phrase “Jesus is my lord and saviour”. There is no Saviour besides Yahweh! Jesus never claimed to be “Lord and Saviour” to the Jews. He explicitly said “I do not accept praise from men” (John 5:41) “In vain do they worship me” (Matthew 15:9, Mark 7:7) and “The Father is greater than I” (John 14:28) etc.

The “Lord Jesus” came from Paul

Paul the False Apostle

The deification of Jesus as “Lord and Savior” was concocted by Paul. There is no verse to substantiate the Christian phrase in the Gospels. It was Paul who introduced the title “Lord Jesus Christ”, not the disciples who knew Jesus face to face.

To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 1:7)

Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature. (Romans 13:14)

Notice how Jesus never gloried himself as “Lord and Savior”, these false titles were given to him later.

The phrase “Lord and Saviour” originated from the epistle of 2Peter, the most doubtful book in the New Testament. The Church Father Origen (185-254 CE) was the first to mention it by name! 2Peter was not accepted by the Church until the 4th century.

And you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:11)

Distortion of the Jewish expression

The expression ‘lord’ is used for respect and honor, not worship. Many characters were called ‘lord’ in the Bible.

Paul is responsible for altering the Meaning of this Jewish idiom; he transformed ‘lord’ into ‘Lord’ as object of worship!

The following verses explain:

“Drink, my lord,” she said, and quickly lowered the jar to her hands and gave him a drink. (Genesis 24:18)

Then you are to say, ‘They belong to your servant Jacob. They are a gift sent to my lord Esau, and he is coming behind us.’ (Genesis 32:18)

Then Judah went up to him and said: “Please, my lord, let your servant speak a word to my lord. Do not be angry with your servant, though you are equal to Pharaoh himself. (Genesis 44:18)

And he said to Moses, “Please, my lord, do not hold against us the sin we have so foolishly committed. (Numbers 12:11)

Jael went out to meet Sisera and said to him, “Come, my Lord, come right in. Don’t be afraid.” So he entered her tent, and she put a covering over him. (Judges 4:18, NIV)

They said, “When the LORD commanded my lord to give the land as an inheritance to the Israelites by lot, he ordered you to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters. (Numbers 36:2)

The expression lord is not significant; the Jewish expression does not mean ‘divinity’.

Jesus rejected those who called him ‘lord’ and neglected his teachings:

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, (Matthew 7:21)

Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? (Luke 6:46)

In vain do they worship me (Matthew 15:9, Mark 7:7)

I do not accept praise from men (John 5:41)

Christians Follow Paul:

Notice how Christians say “all food is clean”, but who guides them to say this? Paul their Master says its okay!

Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a man to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble. (Romans 14:20)

* The Bible does not allow the consumption of pork (Leviticus 11:7)

Notice how Christians say “We are saved by faith only”, but who guides them to say this? Paul their Master has deceived them:

Know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified. (Galatians 2:16)

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10)

* Do the words “Jesus is Lord” sound familiar?

Are we justified by faith “without the works of the Law?” Yet Jesus said the exact opposite:

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-20)

Jesus hated those who practice lawlessness, as the following verse indicates:

So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:40-42)

Christianity is the religion of “talk and no action”, in the following verse:

The lawteachers and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ chair. This means you’re supposed to observe and follow everything they tell you. But don’t do what they do; after all, they’re all talk and no action.” (Matthew 23:2)

Jesus rebukes those who defy him; they follow the doctrines of men:

These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.” (Mark 7:7)

This verse is referring to modern Christians, who neither follow Jesus nor practice his teachings, they worship him in vain.

Paul distorted the Gospel of Jesus to such extant that he contradicted Mark 7:7 and Matthew 23:2:

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9, NIV)

If you acknowledge and confess with your lips… (The Amplified Bible)

* Did not Jesus say “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me?” Paul seems to have missed the boat!

* Did not Jesus say “they’re all talk and no action?” (Matthew 23:2) Paul preaches the exact opposite.

* Jesus taught that salvation is attained by observing the Law (Matthew 5:17) fasting and physical prayer (Matthew 17:21), and not by eloquent words.

Paul deviated people towards lawlessness, through his strange philosophy that, the observance of the Law motivates to sin (Roshan Enam, Follow Jesus or Follow Paul? p. 42)

Christianity is lawlessness because it teaches salvation comes through “faith only” and not the works of the Law (Matthew 23:23)

Jesus taught the exact opposite. He said salvation comes by faith and works

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. (Matthew 17:21)

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. (Matthew 4:1-2)

The Holy Quran rebukes those who claim to be “saved by faith alone”.

Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, “We believe”, and that they will not be tested? (Al-Quran 29:2)

We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false. (Al-Quran 29:3)

The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, (Al-Quran 86:9)

Christians are commanded to follow the Law:

“Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-20)

Say: “O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord.” It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith. (Al-Quran, 5:68)

If only they had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course: but many of them follow a course that is evil. (Al-Quran 5:66)

From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done. (Al-Quran 5:14)

According to the Gospel of Barnabas, Jesus predicted that Paul would corrupt his teachings:

Many, being deceived of Satan, under pretence of piety, are preaching most impious doctrine, calling Jesus son of God, repudiating the circumcision ordained of God for ever, and permitting every unclean meat: among whom Paul also hath been deceived. (The Gospel of Barnabas, p.2).

Christianity allows the drinking of wine, but who told them it was okay? It was Paul their Master!

Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses. (1Timothy 5:23)

What does the Bible say about this issue? It clearly prohibits the drinking of wine:

Do not drink wine nor strong drink (Leviticus 10:9)

Wine [is] a mocker, strong drink [is] raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. (Proverbs 20:1)

Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart. (Hosea 4:11)

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:

Allah’s Apostle was presented with two cups one containing wine and the other milk on the night of his night journey at Jerusalem. He looked at it and took the milk. Gabriel said, “Thanks to Allah Who guided you to the Fitra (i.e. Islam); if you had taken the wine, your followers would have gone astray. (Sahih Muslim, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 232, Narrated by Abu-Huraira)

*There is not a single verse in the New Testament that prohibits wine.

Drinking alcohol gets you drunk, a major sin:

Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. (Romans 13:13)

Since an overseer is entrusted with God’s work, he must be blameless—not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. (Titus 1:7)

Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. (1Timothy 3:2-3)

For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. (1 Peter 4:3)

Why do Christian women dress lustfully? The Bible says:

I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, (1Timothy 2:9)

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. (1Peter 3:3-4)

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. (Ephesians 5:3)

It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that does not occur even among pagans: A man has his father’s wife. (1 Corinthians 5:1)

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. (1 Corinthians 6:18)

We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did—and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died. (1 Corinthians 10:8)

In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. (Jude 1:7)

Is Jesus God? The Bible says No!

The Bible teaches that Jesus is not God; he was not all-powerful and all-knowing:

Jesus weaker than Holy Spirit!

Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. (Matthew 12:31-32)

Jesus is not All-knowing

Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.

At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” (Mark 5:29-31)

Jesus is not All-powerful

“What do you want me to do for you?” he asked.

They replied, “Let one of us sit at your right and the other at your left in your glory.”

“You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said. “Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?”

“We can,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “You will drink the cup I drink and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared.” (Mark 10:36-40, Matthew 20:22-24)

At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked“Who touched my clothes?” (Mark 5:29-31)

Jesus was never called God, but a Prophet!

The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.” (Matthew 21:11)

“About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. (Luke 24:20)

And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “Only in his hometown and in his own house is a prophet without honor.” (Matthew 13:57)

Jesus predicted his Teachings would be corrupted:

“After my departure there will arise the ignorant and the crafty, and many things will they ascribe unto Me that I never spake, and many things which I did speak will they withhold (Gospel of the Nazorenes)

“But beware that ye be not deceived, for many false prophets shall come, who shall take my words and contaminate my gospel” (Gospel of Barnabas, 72:6)

Others preached that he really died, but rose again. Others preached, and yet preach, that Jesus is the son of God, among whom is Paul deceived. (The Gospel of Barnabas, p.273).

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. (2 Peter 2:1)

PART TWO:

A Comparison between Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them)

The Christian version of Jesus is based on the Council of Nicea, when Jesus was transformed into “God incarnate”. Christianity borrowed its doctrines from Paul and the pagan Mystery Religions.

The Islamic version is accurate and true because it is supported by the Bible that he was Prophet and Messenger who claimed no divinity (John 5:30, 14:28, Quran 4:171) was never crucified (Psalms 20:6, 40:6, Micah 6:7-8, Quran 3:55, 4:157) and never became “God incarnate” (Malachi 3:6, Quran 5:116, 9:31) Jesus was not the “Son of God” (Luke 4:41, Quran 23:91)

The Muslim viewpoint is strongly supported by the Nazarenes and Ebionites, who also believed Jesus, was not “God incarnate” or the “Son of God”. Hence, the early Jewish conception of Jesus harmonizes the Islamic account.

Jesus was sent onlyto IsraelHe answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” (Matthew 15:24)These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. (Matthew 10:5-6)  Muhammad was sent to the whole world:We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not. (Al-Quran 34:28)
Jesus taught cruelty, and hatred:But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.” (Luke 19:27)And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. (Revelations 2:23)”If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters—yes, even his own life—he cannot be my disciple. (Luke 14:26)   Muhammad is the better example:”Avoid cruelty and injustice…and guard yourselves against miserliness, for this has ruined nations who lived before you.” Riyadh-us-Salaheen, Hadith 203.We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples. (Al-QURAN 21:107)And We have sent thee (O Muhammad) only as a bearer of good tidings and a warner. (Al-QURAN 25:45)Is it not enough for them that We have sent down unto thee the Scripture which is read unto them? Lo! herein verily is mercy, and a reminder for folk who believe. (Al-QURAN 29:51)
Jesus drank wine, yet the Bible prohibits wine! (Hosea 4:11, Proverbs 20:1) “I tell you the truth, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God.” (Mark 14:25) For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” (Luke 22:18)    Muhammad is the better example, he rejected wine:Book 001, Number 0309:It is narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: I was brought al-Buraq Who is an animal white and long, larger than a donkey but smaller than a mule, who would place his hoof a distance equal to the range of version. I mounted it and came to the Temple (Bait Maqdis in Jerusalem), then tethered it to the ring used by the prophets. I entered the mosque and prayed two rak’ahs in it, and then came out and Gabriel brought me a vessel of wine and a vessel of milk. I chose the milk, and Gabriel said: You have chosen the natural thing. Then he took me to heaven… (Sahih Muslim)
Jesus behaved badly towards his mother:Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. (John 2:4)When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! (John 19:25-26)For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. (Matthew 10:35)   Muhammad emphasized good behavior to parents:Volume 4, Book 52, Number 41:Narrated Abdullah bin Masud:I asked Allah’s Apostle, “O Allah’s Apostle! What is the best deed?” He replied, “To offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times.” I asked, “What is next in goodness?” He replied, “To be good and dutiful to your parents.”
Jesus used offensive nicknames:Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? (Matthew 23:33)O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? (Matthew 3:7)   Muhammad enjoyed a better character, he never used offensive nicknames. Why did Jesus provoke the Jews by calling them “generation of vipers” if he were not looking for trouble?O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: It may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Nor let some women laugh at others: It may be that the (latter are better than the (former): Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong. (Al-Quran 49:11)
Jesus had no chain of transmission among his followers: But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid. (Mark 16:7-9)* How could anyone know about the resurrection if the women kept it secret?* They did not tell anyone, there was no chain of transmission here.* There were no eye-witnesses to the resurrection of Jesus. Read the Gospels yourself.* Where is the account of those “Five hundred” people who allegedly saw Jesus? The Gospels never record this tradition; it was only dictated by Paul. (1 Cor. 15) * The resurrection story of the Gospels is not recorded by the Church Fathers, the historian Philo Judaeus, not even by Paul.  Muhammad superiorly had chain of transmission, his followers passed the traditions from one person to another: Volume 9, Book 91, Number 362:Narrated ‘Umar:There was a man from the Ansar (who was a friend of mine). If he was not present in the company of Allah’s Apostle I used to be present with Allah’s Apostle, I would tell him what I used to hear from Allah’s Apostle, and when I was absent from Allah’s Apostle he used to be present with him, and he would tell me what he used to hear from Allah’s Apostle . (Sahih Muslim)The Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad are based on eye-witness accounts, they knew the Prophet and transmitted the Sayings known as Hadith, the Traditions of the Prophet. Also, the Traditions carry the signature, to prove the tradition is not anonymous. Hence, the Sayings of the Prophet Muhammad are reliable. The Gospels are based on anonymous traditions of Jesus which circulated orally; they are not derived from eye-witnesses.* The Divine Revelation given to Prophet Muhammad is supported by the writings of non-Muslim historians.
According to the Gospels, Jesus never laughed! He rebukes with majesty, councils with mildness, His whole address whether in word or deed, being eloquent and grave. No man has seen him laugh, yet his manners are exceedingly pleasant, but he has wept frequently in the presence of men. He is temperate, modest and wise. A man for his extraordinary beauty and perfection, surpassing the children of men in every sense. (“The Epistle of Lentulus to the Roman Senate,”)Jesus wept. (John 11:35) * The Bible teaches that sadness is better than HappinessGrieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. (James 4:9) Sorrow is better than laughter, because a sad face is good for the heart. (Ecclesiastes 7:3)* Jesus (pbuh) had no sense of humor    The Prophet Muhammad laughed, many times:The Apostle of Allah peace_be_upon_him) laughed so much that his canine or molar teeth appeared.Book 12, Number 2262: Narrated Zayd ibn Arqam: Sunan Abu DawudAllah then produced a cloud, and the storm of thunder and lightning came on. Then the rain fell by Allah’s permission, and before he reached his mosque streams were flowing. When he saw the speed with which the people were seeking shelter, he (peace_be_upon_him) laughed till his back teeth were visible. Then he said: I testify that Allah is Omnipotent and that I am Allah’s servant and apostle.Book 3, Number 1169: Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu’minin: Sunan Abu Dawud  * The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had great sense of humor.

According to Christian scholar Johannes G. Vos, Islam is the Religion of Happiness:

“…Islam is an easier religion than Christianity to live up to; it makes less difficult moral demands upon people. There is nothing in Islam to lead a man to say, “O wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” or “I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwelleth no good thing.”

A religion with reasonable attainable objectives fosters self-confidence, complacency and spiritual pride – it leads inevitably to self-righteousness, but it does not give the sinner the anguish of a guilty conscience nor the frustration of trying without success to attain in practical living the requirements of an absolute moral standard.

In brief, Islam makes a man feel good, while Christianity necessarily first (and often thereafter) makes a man feel bad.  The religion of the broken heart is Christianity, not Islam.”

(JG Vos, A Christian Introduction to Religions of the World (Grand Rapids: Baker, 1965), pg 66f.)

Then those who have believed and worked righteous deeds, shall be made happy in a Mead of Delight. (Al-Quran 30:15)

Allah Knows Best.
