Historically, the Quran was read in various recitations.

The Quran’s recitation or Qiraat is the manner of pronunciation of the Quran. The various recitations do not alter the message of the Quran or prove that ‘different versions’ of the Quran exist.

Then what is the recompense for those who do that among you except disgrace in worldly life; and on the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the severest of punishment. يَعْمَلُونَ

وَلا تُسْأَلُ

Indeed, We have sent you, [O Muhammad], with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner, and you will not be asked about the companions of Hellfire. QURAN 2:1196 of 51

Indeed, We have sent you, [O Muhammad], with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner, and do not ask about the companions of Hellfire.And [mention] when We made the House a place of return for the people and [a place of] security. And take [O believers], from the standing place of Abraham a place of prayer. مَسَٰكِينَ

[Fasting for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] – then an equal number of days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] – a ransom [as substitute] of feeding poor people [each day]. And whoever volunteers excess – it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew.Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said,”When is the help of Allah ?” Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near. QURAN 2:21411 of 51Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [the] messenger and those who believed with him said,”When is the help of Allah ?” Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near.

وَلَوْلا دَفْعُ اللَّهِ

So they defeated them by permission of Allah , and David killed Goliath, and Allah gave him the kingship and prophethood and taught him from that which He willed. And if it were not for Allah defending [some] people by means of others, the earth would have been corrupted, but Allah is full of bounty to the worlds.Or [consider such an example] as the one who passed by a township which had fallen into ruin. He said, “How will Allah bring this to life after its death?” So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years; then He revived him. He said, “How long have you remained?” The man said, “I have remained a day or part of a day.” He said, “Rather, you have remained one hundred years. Look at your food and your drink; it has not changed with time. And look at your donkey; and We will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones [of this donkey] – how We raise them and then We cover them with flesh.” And when it became clear to him, he said, “I know that Allah is over all things competent.” QURAN 2:25913 of 51Or [consider such an example] as the one who passed by a township which had fallen into ruin. He said, “How will Allah bring this to life after its death?” So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years; then He revived him. رِسَالَتَهُ

O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. QURAN 5:6724 of 51

رِسَالَٰتِهِ

O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His messages. And Allah will protect you from the people. And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. Those will have lost who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided QURAN 10:4531 of 51

يُجْبَى

And they say, “If we were to follow the guidance with you, we would be swept from our land.” Have we not established for them a safe sanctuary to which are brought(m) the fruits of all things as provision from Us? But most of them do not know. QURAN 28:5741 of 51

كَبِيرًا

Our Lord, give them double the punishment and curse them with a great curse.” QURAN 33:6842 of 51

And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger – He will admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow; but whoever turns away – He will punish him with a painful punishment. QURAN 48:1749 of 51

On the Day We will say to Hell, “Have you been filled?” and it will say, “Are there some more,” QURAN 50:3050 of 51
