This is a long article, and the Islamic Response and Clarifications is towards the end of this article, make sure to read the whole article. We started this article by showing the false lies and claims by Christian missionaries first and what does the Bible say as well.

First Let us Read Prophet Muhammed Authentic Statement=Hadith

Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: “The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) cursed the women who imitate men and the men who imitate women.”

Grade: Sahih= Authentic (Darussalam).    English translation: Vol. 5, Book 41, Hadith 2784 Arabic reference: Book 43, Hadith 3013

Shamoun’s excessive foul mouth documented in AUDIO, TEXT, and IMAGES

First, it is worth noting that when one deals with Sam Shamoun, one deals with either an extreme toilet-mouth and scum of the earth (we have documented his COUNTLESS foul insults in both text and audio in his rebuttals section), or with a snake-faced (who would not vomit the things he says to us and others in his articles) liar who invents all types of lies to deceive the reader.

This is the natural result of following, to the fullest, the X-rated gospel of porn (the book of women’s vaginas and breasts literally taste like “wine”) and the book of lies and deceptions, where one would have to INVENT false conclusions and lies to prove his baseless theories and beliefs.  A great example for this is the trinity lie. Check the below link.

He is after all, just being good polytheist trinitarian pagan, he had to rely on invention of lies and fabrication of quotes to convince their readers.  What other methods and means should we think the trinity lie is proven from the Bible?

Did Prophet Muhammad really wear Aisha’s clothes, or was this a lie by Sam Shamoun?

Brother Jalal Abualrub has written an excellent article where he exposed Sam Shamoun on:

1- Either deliberately or accidentally (took it from some other liar) mistranslating the Arabic text, especially the word “fee”.

2- Having a great deal of ignorance in Arabic and Hadiths.

3- Being badly possessed by the 1 Kings 22’s lying spirits in the Bible as I also demonstrated above with his snake-face, that are clearly possessing him and causing him to lie and be a true trinitarian.

Sam Shamoun is clearly suffering from lying syndrome and he should read his gospel of porn less check below link, because it is turning him into an evil spirit and a porn star (calling for gay-rape and being “large”).  Let’s not get graphic here!!

2- Did baby Jesus, the so-called Creator of the Universe, ever get wrapped in his mother’s garment?

Notice again the two liars’ quote above:

“It is common for mothers to wrap their babies in their garments in order to protect them from getting cold, so it wouldnโ€™t surprise us that Mary decided to wrap Jesus with her clothing. But Muhammad wasnโ€™t a baby when he asserted that the so-called divine inspiration came to him while in the garment of Aisha, his child bride, and not of the other wives. We, therefore, have to ask what a grown man was of over fifty doing wearing young prepubescent girlโ€™s clothes?”

Brother Osama Abdullah in his AUDIO rebuttal

The so-called women’s clothes that we’re dealing with here are not bikinis, skirts, bras, and women’s under-wears!  We are talking about GARMENTS (survival clothes) that were made from animal skins, which also included using the wool that was detached from the skin.

Since it is only natural for mothers to cover their breasts by wrapping a garment or a piece of clothes (especially back then) when they breast feed their babies, and it is only natural for mothers (especially back then) to wrap their sons with their own garments or any other garments in the house to keep them warm.

It is quite possible and more than likely that men in the Bible were prohibited from putting on THE SAME LOOKING GARMENTS that the women wear not due to Moral Reasons, but rather because women in the Bible are clearly and indisputably considered defiling to men and to everything around them!

Let us look at the following Examples:

Then therefore, it is safe to say that Mary wrapped baby Jesus with her garment at least once when she was alone with him.  No diapers were mentioned by me.  It’s only in their deceived and deceiving heads.

Since the two cowards here are accepting that Jesus was wrapped by Mary’s clothes (garment) as their quote above clearly says, and since Jesus is considered by them THE ALMIGHTY CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE.

Then whether he was 1 day old, 100 years old, or -1000 years old (just being sarcastic here), this still does not justify for Him to violate His own Divine Command!  We’re certainly not talking about my baby son when he was born here!  We’re talking about the supposed Creator of the Universe Himself!

In the Bible:

Jesus considers women as dirt that defiles men (since Jesus, the GOD, is the one who supposedly inspired the New Testament as Christians claim):

Revelation 14:4 “Those are those (men) who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure.  They follow the Lamb wherever he goes.  They were purchased from among men and offered as first fruits to God and the Lamb.”

Some Christians said that Revelation 14:4 is referring to those sinless men who stayed away from fornication and adultery, and it is not meant at all to be degrading or insulting to women.

Our Islamic response to them is:  The verse does not say “those who did not defile themselves with fornication or adultery”.

Have the verse said that, then it would’ve included both males and females and there would be nothing to disagree about.  But the verse clearly and irrefutably says: “those who did not defile themselves with women”, which means (1) No females will be among those men; and (2) Women are defiling to men.

Women are not only spiritually defiling to men as Jesus put it, but they’re also physically defiling when they have their menses.  Anything they touch becomes unclean:  Leviticus 15:19-30 “And if a woman have an issue (her period/menses), [and] her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days:

and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even. And everything that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: everything also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.

And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe [himself] in water, and be unclean until the even. And whosoever toucheth anything that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe [himself] in water, and be unclean until the even. And if it [be] on [her] bed, or on anything whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.

And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean. And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she [shall be] unclean.

Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation. And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe [himself] in water, and be unclean until the even.

But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.

And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And the priest shall offer the one [for] a sin offering, and the other [for] a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.”

I think it is safe to say that Revelation 14:4 and Leviticus 15:19-30 are sister verses.

Birth of any female is a loss:  Ecclesiasticus 22:3 “….and the birth of ANY daughter is a loss” (From the New Jerusalem Bible.  It’s a Roman Catholics Bible).

If a woman gives birth to a baby boy, then she becomes unclean for 7 days.  But if she gives birth to a baby girl, then she becomes unclean for 14 days.  So, in other words, the birth of any female causes doubles the pollution:  Leviticus 12:2-5 “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a MALE child: then she shall be unclean SEVEN DAYS; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.

And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying THIRTY-THREE days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled. But if she bears a FEMALE child, then she shall be unclean TWO WEEKS, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying SIXTY-SIX days.”

I think it’s safe to say that Ecclesiasticus 22:3 and Leviticus 12:2-5 are sister verses.

If a woman tries to save her husband from a beating by grabbing the other man’s private parts to lift him off her husband, then both her hands must get cut off: Deuteronomy 25:11-12 “And in case men struggle together (in a fight) with one another.

And the wife of the one has come near to deliver her husband out of the striking one (to save her husband), and she has thrust out her hand and grabbed hold of his private (the other man’s groin), she must then get both her hands cut off, and the eyes of the men must feel no sorrow.”

Fathers can sell their daughters as slave girls:  Exodus 21:7-8 “And in case a man should sell his daughter as a slave girl, she will not go out in the way that the slave men go out.  If she is displeasing in the eyes of her master so that he doesn’t designate her as a concubine but causes her to be redeemed, he will not be entitled to sell her to a foreign people in his treacherously dealing with her.”

Daughters inherit nothing when there are sons: “If a man dies and leaves no son, turn his inheritance over to his daughter. (Numbers 27:8)โ€ So the American law of splitting everything equally is not Biblical.

Jesus himself in Revelation 14:4 considered women as dirt that defiles men.  Even Jesus, the Christians’ highest model, despised women in the Bible!!  It is crystal clear that women in the Bible are nothing but a defiling dirt and trash to men.  This is no insult to women by me.  This is just simply the way the Bible views women.  Ironically, Jesus confirmed this view.

3- The Jewish Law does not apply to Muslims anyway:

We must also never forget that the Bible’s Old Testament does not apply to either Muslims or Christians (in many instances)!  The Jewish Law was specific for the Jewish people.

4- Prepubescent girls in the gospel of porn:

Since the polytheist trinitarian pagans, liars and cowards insist on charging Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, with pedophilia for MARRYING a girl that was given to him by her parents and relatives, then let me those two double-faced hypocrites to justice and present some REAL PEDOPHILIA AND TERRORISM from

their gospel of porn check below link, the book of women’s vaginas and breasts taste literally like “wine”, to show the reader how these two cowards keep running away from this IRREFUTABLE piece that I keep shutting their mouths with every time I bring it up:

Numbers 31:17-18 “Now kill all the boys [innocent kids]. And kill every woman who has slept with a man but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.

As we clearly see, innocent baby and young boys along with every non-virgin girl were slaughtered by the thousands by Moses and his men according to these verses.

Not only that, but according to the Jewish Talmud’s elaborations and documentation on the events that took place in the history of Numbers 31:17-18, girls as young as 3 (THREE!!!!!!) had (sorry to get graphic) literally penises inserted in them by Moses’ men:

The sections of this article are:

1- The Arabic words thawb, libaas, mirt, lihaaf, and their meanings.

      – Homosexuality is strictly forbidden in Islam!

2- The Arabic word “fe” (ูููŠ) and its meanings with examples, with two stunning Scientific Miracles.
3- Sam Shamoun’s fabrications or sheer ignorance exposed and thoroughly refuted.

–  The Hadiths themselves CLEARLY define thawb & mirt to mean lihaaf (blanket, cover, sheet, protection).

4- Jesus Christ wore his mother’s clothes.
5- Conclusion.  Must read!

1- The Arabic words thawb, libaas, mirt, lihaaf, and their meanings:

The Arabs of old, before Islam, used the language of tents a lot in their relationships, responsibilities, hospitalities, and homes.  This was the case because they lived mostly in tents, and they were constantly traveling in search for new sources of water.  The following is list of the Arabic words that this article is concerned with and their literal meanings:

1.     Thawb, means garment, cloak, cover.

2.     Libaas, clothes, cover.  This is where modern-day words MALAABIS (clothes, such as dresses, shirts, pants, jeans, etc…) and ALBISAH (has same meaning as malaabis) are derived from.

3.     Mirt, a garment, a cloak, a cover.

4.     Lihaaf, a blanket, a sheet, a cover.

Now, many times throughout the Islam’s texts (including in the Glorious Quran), and also among the Arabs, these words are used in idioms and metaphors.  This is again due to the language of tents that the Arabs adopted.  Let us look at the following examples:

1- Regarding thawb, the Arabs of old before Islam, used to marry the oldest son to the deceased father’s wife (not their mother).  The custom was that the oldest son would THROW HIS THAWB UNTO HER to inherit her from his father.  So, the use of thawb here is metaphoric, and not literal:

The Bible too uses “garment” for oaths, pledges, promises, authority, rulership:

Genesis 3:20-22

20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.

21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.

22 And the Lord God said, โ€œThe man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat and live forever.โ€

Exodus 28:1-5

The Priestly Garments

1 โ€œHave Aaron your brother brought to you from among the Israelites, along with his sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, so they may serve me as priests.

2 Make sacred garments for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honour.

3 Tell all the skilled workers to whom I have given wisdom in such matters that they are to make garments for Aaron, for his consecration, so he may serve me as priest.

4 These are the garments they are to make: a breast piece, an ephod, a robe, a woven tunic, a turban, and a sash. They are to make these sacred garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so they may serve me as priests.

5 Have them use gold, and blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine linen.

Deuteronomy 24

10 When you make a loan of any kind to your neighbour, do not go into their house to get what is offered to you as a pledge.

11 Stay outside and let the neighbour to whom you are making the loan bring the pledge out to you.

12 If the neighbour is poor, do not go to sleep with their pledge in your possession.

13 Return their cloak by sunset so that your neighbour may sleep in it. Then they will thank you, and it will be regarded as a righteous act in the sight of the Lord your God.

Numbers 20:25-27

25 Get Aaron and his son Eleazar and take them up Mount Hor.

26 Remove Aaronโ€™s garments and put them on his son Eleazar, for Aaron will be gathered to his people; he will die there.โ€

27 Moses did as the Lord commanded: They went up Mount Hor in the sight of the whole community.

Proverbs 27:13

13 Take the garment of one who puts up security for a stranger; hold it in pledge if it is done for an outsider.

Isaiah 59:17

He put on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on his head; he put on the garments of vengeance and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.

John 21:6-8

6 He said, โ€œThrow your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.โ€ When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

7 Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, โ€œIt is the Lord!โ€ As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, โ€œIt is the Lord,โ€ he wrapped his outer garment around him (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water.

8 The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards.

Garment in these verses is not only a piece of cloth.  It has deep meaning, symbolism, and religious value.  It is a symbol of honour, dignity, authority, rulership, trust, promise and pledge.

2- Regarding Libaas, Allah Almighty used this word in several Noble Verses in the Glorious Quran:

2:187 ุงุญู„ ู„ูƒู… ู„ูŠู„ุฉ ุงู„ุตูŠุงู… ุงู„ุฑูุซ ุงู„ู‰ ู†ุณุงุฆูƒู… ู‡ู† ู„ุจุงุณ ู„ูƒู… ูˆุงู†ุชู… ู„ุจุงุณ ู„ู‡ู†

[002:187] Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is the approach to your wives. They are your garments and ye are their garments.

078:010]  And made the night as a covering,

Again, men and women being LIBAAS for each others is metaphoric.  It means that the husband and wife are covers and protectors (in righteousness) to each others.  They keep each others secrets, they know each others’ intimate secrets and privacies, and they don’t expose it to others.

For ample more Noble Verses, see: 2:42, 2:187, 3:71, 6:9, 6:65, 6:82, 6:137, 7:26-27, 16:14, 18:3, 35:12, 44:53, 16:112, 21:80, 22:23, 25:47, 35:33, 78:10.

3- Regarding Mirt, brother Jalal Abualrub

4- Lihaaf, see Main section #3 below.

It is also important to know that homosexuality is strictly forbidden in Islam!  Therefore, being gay, or dressing like gays, or speaking like gays, or looking like gays is strictly forbidden in Islam, for both men and women.

Check our article:

Islamโ€™s Clear Position on Homosexuality

2- The Arabic word “fe” (ูููŠ) and its meanings with examples, with two stunning Scientific Miracles

The Hadith that Sam Shamoun and David Wood raised is as follows:

(Do not hurt me with Aisha, for the inspiration did not come down upon me while I was FE woman’s THAWB, except that of Aisha)

While in this section, I will thoroughly further prove, as I also proved in Main Section #1 above, that THAWB here means cover and tent, and not garment, but it is also important to know that the Hadiths themselves below, in Main Section 3, CLEARLY define thawb & mirt to mean lihaaf (blanket, cover, sheet, protection).

Now, Shamoun here claims that Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, declared that he:

Used to wear women’s garments, or clothes.

That inspirations do not come down upon him, except that when he is in Aisha’s garment or clothes.

But there is a problem with this logic here.  First, it is clear to the Arabic speakers that the Prophet was speaking in idioms and metaphors.  To start with, the Prophet did become a Prophet, and he did receive Divine Inspirations and Revelations long before he even married Aisha.  The Prophet here was speaking in an idiom that:

Among all of his wives, the only one that seems to have the special timing is when he is with Aisha.

The idiom could also mean that the Prophet feels very good, and good feelings and inspirations and delight are felt mostly when he is with Aisha.  In other words, the Prophet loved her so much, that she always brightens his days and makes him feel very delighted and very happy.

Furthermore, when we thoroughly examine what the word fe (ูููŠ) actually means, we find that it means:

In

Inside

Under

Therein

At

By

On

From among

To clearly see this, let us examine the following Noble Verses’ translations, with two stunning Scientific Miracle.

1- fe means in, inside, under, therein:

2:2 ุฐู„ูƒ ุงู„ูƒุชุงุจ ู„ุงุฑูŠุจ ููŠู‡ ู‡ุฏู‰ ู„ู„ู…ุชู‚ูŠู†

The following Noble Verses are a stunning Scientific Miracle in the Glorious Quran, in the field of Geology.

Noble Verse(s) 30:41

The following Noble Verses are another stunning Scientific Miracle in the Glorious Quran, in the field of Geology.

Arabic (from right to left):

โ€30:2 ุบู„ุจุช ุงู„ุฑูˆู…

โ€30:3 ููŠ ุงุฏู†ู‰ ุงู„ุงุฑุถ ูˆู‡ู… ู…ู† ุจุนุฏ ุบู„ุจู‡ู… ุณูŠุบู„ุจูˆู†

30:2 The Romans have been defeated –

30:3 In the lowest land on earth; but they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious-

So, the Prophet here was speaking about being with Aisha, in Aisha’s home, and not inside Aisha’s clothes.  Now, it may very well that the Prophet may at one point, or another put on Aisha’s garment, because the weather was cold or something.

After all, we are not talking about bras and under wears here!  A garment back them was made of animal skin with wool.  This is similar to the husband and wife, today, sleeping UNDER ONE BLANKET.  There is no shame in it whatsoever.

Now again, the Hadiths in the following Main Section #3, clearly define THAWB and MIRT as LIHAAF (blanket, cover, sheet, protection), which further proves our point about the Prophet, peace be upon him, wasn’t at all referring to wearing any woman’s clothes.

But I say it again, even if the Prophet, in private, put on his shoulders a garment of any of his wives, or if the Prophet slept under the blanket of any of his wives’.  Only a silly desperate anti-Islamic would make such a big deal out of it.

And againit is also important to know that homosexuality is strictly forbidden in Islam!  Therefore, being gay, or dressing like gays, or speaking like gays, or looking like gays is strictly forbidden in Islam, for both men and women.

3- Sam Shamoun’s fabrications or sheer ignorance exposed and thoroughly refuted:

In our Islamic Sahih (Authentic) Hadiths Volumes, we have narrations such as the following that clearly quote Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, Referring to our Mother Aisha’s HOME and not clothes:

(The Hadiths themselves below CLEARLY define thawb & mirt to mean lihaaf (blanket, cover, sheet, protection))

Did Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) cross-dress? Sam Shamoun exposed!

If you are looking to know about Islam, be wary of the fact that there are some insane souls who are nothing but deceivers and they claim to โ€˜unveilโ€™ Islam. One of such big fraudsters is Sam Shamoun. Invariably his every article is heap of lies and deceits. In the following lines we expose just one more lie as a test case for those who are yet to see him at his best

He claims that the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad, on whom be the peace and blessings of Almighty Allah, used to cross dress. He refers to two narrations and we shall expose his deceit skills just below.

Hadith 1:

The first Hadith he uses is from Sahih Bukhari. He translates it as:

Narrated by Ismail, narrated by his brother, narrated by Sulaiman, narrated by Hisham Ibn Urwah, narrated by his father, narrated by Aisha who related that the wives of the prophet were divided into two groups.

One group consisted of Aisha, Hafsa, Safiya and Sawdah while the other group consisted of Um Salamah and the rest of the women that belonged to the prophet.

The Muslims had learned of the great love that the prophet had for Aisha so that if one of them had a gift he desired to give to the prophet, he would delay giving it until the prophet came to Aishaโ€™s house.

Then the group who sided with Um Salamah came to Um Salamah and asked her to tell the prophet that he should command the people that if any of them had a gift to give to the prophet, they should give it him in whatever house of his wives the prophet was in at the time.

So, Um Salamah went and talked with the prophet, but he did not respond to her. When the group asked her what the prophet said she told them that he did not respond.

So, they asked her to go talk to him again until he respondsโ€ฆ then the prophet said to her, โ€œDo not hurt me with Aisha, for the inspiration did not come upon when I was (wearing) A WOMANโ€™S CLOTHES (Thowb) EXCEPT THAT OF AISHA.โ€

(Source- http://hadith.al-islam.com/Display/Display.asp?hnum=2393&doc=0)

Actual wording of the Hadith:

1- This is a long Hadith. Arabic wording for the last portion he uses to slander goes as:

Its correct literal translation must be:

“Do not hurt me regarding Aisha, as the Divine Inspirations do not come to me when I am in the [thowb] cloth (i.e. blanket) of any of wives except [in that of] Aisha.โ€ (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 2393)

2- Here I have translated the word โ€˜thowbโ€™ as cloth and in bracket I wrote โ€˜blanketโ€™ for that is what it means.

This is further proven in the next Hadith about Lihaaf (blanket).

Another version of the same narration:

3- This becomes further clear from the following narration, also from Sahih Bukhari, in which these last words are rendered as:

โ€œDon’t trouble me regarding ‘Aisha, for by Allah, the Divine Inspiration never came to me while I was under the Lihaaf (blanket) of any woman amongst you except her.” (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 3491)

Here the actual word is โ€˜lihaafโ€™ which literally means โ€˜blanketโ€™.

Meaning of the word โ€˜lihaafโ€™:

4- Edward William Lane in Arab-English Lexicon writes about the word โ€˜lihaafโ€™

See his lexicon p. 3008. See attached photos

Words are used interchangeably:

5- And as ู„ูุญูŽุงูู (lihaaf) i.e., ‘blanket’ is made of ุซูŽูˆู’ุจู (thowb) i.e., ‘cloth’ so these words are interchangeably used in various narrations.

Lie Exposed:

6- Sam Shamoun, first inserted the words โ€˜wearingโ€™ in brackets for no reason. Perhaps he thought that Muslims will also swallow this word in brackets as easily as Christians have been adopting interpolations into the Bible.

7- He translated the word โ€˜thowbโ€™ as โ€œwomanโ€™s clothingโ€ and related it to wearing. You will hardly ever find a liar of this caliber!

Hadith 2:

Another narration used by the liar is from Sahih Muslim. He translates it as:

Narrated by Abdal Malik ibn Shuโ€™aib ibn Laith ibn Saโ€™ad, narrated by his father, narrated by his grandfather, narrated by Ukail Ibn Khalid, narrated by Ibn Shihab, narrated by Yahya ibn Saโ€™id ibn Al Aas who narrated that Aisha, the wife of the prophet, and Uthman related to him that Abu Bakr requested permission from the prophet – pbuh- to enter when the prophet was lying down on Aishaโ€™s bed WEARING HER GARMENT (Mirt).

So, the prophet gave permission to Abu Bakr to enter while he (Muhammad) was in that state and Abu Bakr finished what he needed and left. Later, Umar came and requested permission to enter, and the prophet gave him permission to enter while he (Muhammad) was in that state. So, Umar finished what he needed and left.

Later, Uthman requested permission to enter to the prophet, so Muhammad sat up and told Aisha, โ€œTAKE ALL THE CLOTHING THAT BELONGS TO YOU.โ€

Actual wording of the Hadith:

1- The Hadith goes as:

Its correct translation must be:

A’isha, the wife of Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him), and Uthman both reported that Abu Bakr sought permission from Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) for entrance (in his apartment) as he had been lying on his bed COVERED WITH THE BED-SHEET (mirt) OF A’ISHA, and he gave permission to Abu Bakr in that very state and he, having his need fulfilled, went back.

Then Umar sought permission and it was given to him in that very state and, after having his need fulfilled, he went back. And ‘Uthman reported:

Then I sought permission from him, and he got up and said to A’isha:

โ€˜WRAP YOURSELF WELL WITH YOUR CLOTH.โ€™ (Sahih Muslim, Hadith 4415)

Meaning of the word โ€˜Mirtโ€™:

2- His first lie about this Hadith relates to the meaning of the word โ€˜mirt.โ€™ He translates it as โ€˜garmentโ€™ while in reality it is used for any un-sewn cloth.

Edward William Lane in his lexicon writes:  see attached Photos

See Arabic-English Lexicon by Edward William Lane pp. 2709-2710.

Clearly, he even refers to the narration of Aisha (RA) and tells us that it is a piece of cloth that a woman throws over their head or wraps herself in it. In other words, it is simply a sheet of cloth. In reality this single reference is enough to show that Sam Shamoun is the liar โ€“Nay! He is the lying spirit of 1-Kings 22!

Other narrations with the word โ€˜Mirtโ€™:

3- In Musnad Ahmad it is reported that Huzaifa bin Yaman (RA) says:

โ€œThen I went to Messenger of Allah (PBUH) while he was standing in prayers PUTTING ON A SHEET OF CLOTH (fi mirt) of one of his wives, having patterns of camel saddle on it (โ€˜mirtโ€™/sheet of cloth), when he saw me, he let me in, and threw the side of the SHEET OF CLOTH (mirt) on me.โ€ (Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 23382. Authenticated by Shuโ€™aib Arnaโ€™ut)

Now if โ€˜mirtโ€™ means โ€˜dress of a womanโ€™, as the liar Shamoun says, then we have to believe that it was enough for two men.

4- Another narration from Musnad Ahmad says about the Prophet (PBUH):

ูˆู‡ูˆ ู…ุน ุนุงุฆุดุฉ ููŠ ู…ุฑุทู‡ุง

โ€œAnd he was with Aisha in her sheet of cloth (mirt-iha).โ€ (Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 25215. Authenticated by Shuโ€™aib Arnaโ€™ut)

Following the Liar Shamounโ€™s suggested meaning, it would mean they were both wearing same the garment.

5- In fact a narration like the one in question from Sahih Muslim also uses the same words. In it reads:

Narrated Aisha: โ€œAbu Bakr sought permission from Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) for entrance (in his apartment) and I was with him in one sheet of cloth (mirt wahid)โ€ (Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 25378. Classified as Sahih by Shuโ€™aib Arnaโ€™ut)

Meaning of the phrase towards the end of the quote:

6- His second lie is about the phrase towards the end of the section of the Hadith quoted. He translates the words.

ูŽุนููŠ ุนูŽู„ูŽูŠู’ูƒู ุซููŠูŽุงุจูŽูƒู

โ€œTake all the clothing that belongs to you.โ€

The absolute literal translation of this phrase has to be โ€œGather onto you your cloth.โ€

And looking at the context and earlier discussion, it simply means โ€˜wrap yourself with your cloth.

Usage of this phrase in other narrations:

7- Other narrations with the same phrase testify to the validity of Muslim translation and highlight Samโ€™s ignorance.

One narration says:

The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) dressed himself, and then went out for prayer. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith 538)

Another narration reads:

A man stood up and asked the Prophet about praying in a single garment. The Prophet said, “Has every one of you two garments?” A man put a similar question to ‘Umar on which he replied, “When Allah makes you wealthier than you should clothe yourself properly (during prayers). (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 352)

Now taking the phrase to mean the way Sam Shamoun contends, in above narrations respectively it would mean:

โ€œMessenger of Allah took his clothes with him and then went out for prayer.โ€

And:

โ€œUmar replied, โ€œWhen Allah makes you wealthier than you should take all your clothes with you.โ€

Such โ€˜wonderful โ€˜ideas can be hit upon only by Sam Shamoun for even his concept of God is like this. In fact, more marvelous!

May Allah guide protect the innocent minds from the slanderous propaganda of missionaries!

5- Conclusion

We’ve clearly seen above, how the Arabic word fe (ูููŠ) means:

1.     In

2.     Inside

3.     Under

4.     Therein

5.     At

6.     By

7.     On

8.     From among

We’ve also seen how the Hadiths themselves defined what the Prophet, peace be upon him, by thawb and mirt to mean lihaaf (a blanket, sheet, cover, protection).  They don’t refer to clothes at all.  This is also further proven by the fact that the Arabs used to (and still do) speak in the language of tents, and garments, and sheets, and cloaks, when talking about homes, shelters, hospitality, comfort, and protection.

We’ve seen this sample clip about how the Arabs of old, before Islam, used the word thawb in reference to the oldest son “inheriting” his deceased father’s wife.

And again, the Bible too uses “garment” for oaths, pledges, promises, authority, rulership:

2 Make sacred garments for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honor.

3 Tell all the skilled workers to whom I have given wisdom in such matters that they are to make garments for Aaron, for his consecration, so he may serve me as priest.

4 These are the garments they are to make: a breast piece, an ephod, a robe, a woven tunic, a turban and a sash. They are to make these sacred garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so they may serve me as priests.

5 Have them use gold, and blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine linen.

Deuteronomy 24

10 When you make a loan of any kind to your neighbor, do not go into their house to get what is offered to you as a pledge.

11 Stay outside and let the neighbor to whom you are making the loan bring the pledge out to you.

12 If the neighbor is poor, do not go to sleep with their pledge in your possession.

13 Return their cloak by sunset so that your neighbor may sleep in it.

It is a symbol of honor, dignity, authority, rulership, trust, promise and pledge.

It is beyond clear, that Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, didn’t say that he wore any woman’s clothes.  This is also further proven by the facts that homosexuality is strictly forbidden in Islam!

Arrogance is not only a sign of insecurity, but also a sign of immaturity. Mature and fully realised persons can get their points across, even emphatically without demeaning or intimidating others.
