1. Does God’s stated purpose of creating man to worship him seem worthy of an immensely intelligent and all-powerful being?
If you have your son that you have fathered or mothered and looked after him all the way until he became a sane mature son, wouldn’t you expect him to appreciate and obey you?
Or do you expect your son to obey strangers living next door merely for speaking to him nicely? Who deserves your son’s kind and permanent appreciation? You or the strangers. I will leave this for you to answer.
Almighty God is a Creator, created us and everything from NOTHING, and all of creation is a testament for his existence. Though God does not need his creation in order to exist, the creation itself relies on God and His Magnificence. It is conceptually shortsighted to think God’s creation is limited to our universe and our perception of the material and physical world.
Moreover, God does not need worship. This is stated in the Qur’an
Quran [51:56-58] “I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me. I seek no provision from them, nor do I need them to feed Me. Indeed, Allah ˹alone˺ is the Supreme Provider—Lord of all Power, Ever Mighty.”
Worship is not restricted to performing rituals. Worship (‘Ibadat’) extends to our ethics, behavior, and morality. God teaches that even a good word is an act of worship, as are service to society, acts of charity and the seeking of knowledge and higher education.
In short, the worship of God Almighty is a way of life through which you constantly seek to better yourself, elevate your current status, and give thanks to the Creator in different ways.
Smiling at strangers is an act of worship too!
[Al-Tirmidhi Book 27, Hadith 62] “Your smiling in the face of your brother is charity, commanding good and forbidding evil is charity, your giving directions to a man lost in the land is charity for you. Your seeing for a man with bad sight is a charity for you, your removal of a rock, a thorn or a bone from the road is charity for you. Your pouring what remains from your bucket into the bucket of your brother is charity for you.”
2. If God is self-sufficient, and does nothing in vain, is not creation the height of vanity?
Is Creation an act of vanity?
If you are a self-sufficient person and for instance you have food, clothes etc. and decide to make planet trees to grow food, would you be doing that in vain? Why do not you thank God and appreciate his countless goods upon us?
Or do you have to over-analyse things and come up with strange concepts that things were created in vain?
We can look everywhere around us and find that everything has a use. Aren’t discoveries made every day?
And are we not constantly in a state of progressive learning and unlocking the secrets of the world around us?
If we as humans had not progressed, had not constantly improved living standards, nor made larger and larger communities, then the allegation would have been spot on. But a quick examination of the history of life on this earth proves that nothing about creation is in vain.
As the Qur’an states:
Quran [44:38-39] “We did not create the heavens and the earth and everything in between for sport. We only created them for a purpose, but most of these ˹pagans˺ do not know.”
Quran [67:1-5] “Blessed is the One in Whose Hands rests all authority. And He is Most Capable of everything. He is the One˺ Who created death and life in order to test which of you is best in deeds. And He is the Almighty, All-Forgiving. ˹He is the One˺ Who created seven heavens, one above the other. You will never see any imperfection in the creation of the Most Compassionate. So, look again: do you see any flaws?
Then look again and again—your sight will return frustrated and weary. And indeed, we adorned the lowest heaven with ˹stars like˺ lamps and made them ˹as missiles˺ for stoning ˹eavesdropping˺ devils, for whom We have also prepared the torment of the Blaze.”
3.If creation is for our benefit, then what is the benefit to those who will burn forever?
Well, some people choose to reject and refuse to acknowledge Almighty God and arrogantly think of themselves to be invincible and are going to live forever and think of themselves as if they were walking Gods on earth.
That type of people who challenge God and reject him and all his countless blessings upon us deserve punishment.
If you have an employee who is getting paid by you as an employer and refuses to obey your orders, abuse you, exploit your good deeds to them, what are you going to do to them with your repetitive warnings?
I will leave it to you to answer.
The Qur’an says there are infinite rewards for the believers and for those who strove to do good deeds on Earth, who gave thanks to God Almighty and served his Creation. The absence of this struggle is the absence of this reward. Of course, this will seem harsh in comparison to what is offered to the believers.
However, as the Qur’an states, the Hell is not the final resting place for the evil doers who die Muslims in the afterlife, but like a temporary correctional facility, that will cleanse the evil people’s sins. This will make them compatible with the pure status of the Muslims who are in paradise, in an eventual send-off to their final resting place in heaven.
The correctional facility of Hell is not without its hardships, as we can compare it to a surgery for the removal of a tumor, while missing out on the joys of Heaven for the time being. Everyone will be held responsible, even Muslims.
It does not mean that because someone is a Muslim that he or she got automatic right or a blank check to go to eternal paradise without being held accountable for their bad deeds. But eventually after they get their fair trial and punishment they will be released and go to paradise; this shows that there is no nepotism in Islam.
On the other hand, anyone who fail to follow Islam after receiving and hearing about Islam, they will end up in eternal hellfire because they refused, rejected, declined to acknowledge, and accept the true Almighty God who created them form nothing and provided them with everything. Yet they choose deliberately not to follow Islam despite they know, and everyone knows that this world is temporary, and we are all going to die. So, everyone needs to think very wisely.
In short, life on this Earth is like a harvest, and you reap what you do or do not sow. If you do not commit yourself to struggling for the possible rewards in front of you, you will suffer from the repercussions of your actions or inactions.
As stated in the Qur’an:
Quran [11:106-108] “As for those bound for misery, they will be in the Fire, where they will be sighing and gasping, staying there forever, as long as the heavens and the earth will endure, except what your Lord wills. Surely your Lord does what He intends. And as for those destined to joy, they will be in Paradise, staying there forever, as long as the heavens and the earth will endure, except what your Lord wills—a ˹generous˺ giving, without end.”
It is made clear from these verses, that the phase of Fire will meet its end for certain people and others will remain eternally. While the fortunes of heaven are never ending and never taken away.
4.What is the point of God’s test when He knows the outcome? Is it just so He can have a reason to punish and reward?
Almighty God has given you the free will, you can go eat good food now or eat poison, what are you going to choose now? Did anyone force you?
Similarly, Would you worship the sun, moon or anything or worship who created them and sent a message with various logical, scientific, and clear evidence to support that?
Almighty God never forced you to choose anything, you have both directions and warning messages from him. All options are available to you no specific direction is forced upon you. Your ultimate choice is known by Almighty God and not decided upon you by God.
Simple example: If you have a pet like a dog and you train them, would you be able to predict their pattern of behaviours based on various things? Did you force that dog to do anything?
Remember you are human and fully aware of your desires, needs, you know you are going to do and you got clear signs and messages from God advising you to use logic and follow the right path.
You have the chance in your hands to make do with as much as you can. Life on Earth is not only a “test,” but also a chance to seek self-betterment, and promote your values and principles and seek constant spiritual elevation and promotion.
It is clear from this life that there are a range of different people; including people who are believers, and people who are non-believers, people who are doing good, and people who are evil, and all others who are in between. We are all given a chance in this life to discover our ways, seek self-betterment and find the purpose of creation.
You can easily say “I love God and His Creation,” but in this life God is giving you a chance to apply this sentiment and to keep trying to do it better. You have a lifetime to discover what you have and to achieve what your goal in life is. You do not have an excuse not to do it. So, do not waste your life complaining that there is a “fiery” Hell. Instead, seek heaven.
Quran [4:41] “Indeed, Allah never wrongs ˹anyone˺—even by an atom’s weight. And if it is a good deed, He will multiply it many times over and will give a great reward out of His grace.”
Quran [99:7-8] “So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it. And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.”
5.Can a being who creates humans that he knows will fail his test and will be tortured without end, be called The Most Merciful of those who show Mercy?
When you apply to get your driving license and before you start to drive you get taught about the rules and consequences of driving good or driving bad. The licensing authority knows that the bad driver will be given warning and demerit points once you ignore the good driving rules. Does that mean that the driving authority is not caring and concerned about you as a driver and other people in the road?
It is your absolute choice as a driver who had been given all the instructions to make you a good driver even BEFORE you start to drive. But for some unknown reason inside your head, you start to speed and go over the speed limit, perhaps you start to do some burnouts and drive your car in a circular dangerous manner.
Similarly, you have been taught to follow the right religion and the message has reached you, but you dislike religious rules because it restricts you from following your own bad desires. Therefore, you ask such questions.
If you are really serious about getting to the great final destination of Paradise as promised in Islam, you will be careful, serious and do your best to be a good Muslim.
Can a human being, with equal chances to all others, not seek to utilize what God has given to him, instead of incorrectly complaining that he will not get an equal chance?
God says that Heaven and Hell essentially will be populated by people living on this Earth; but that a believer will enjoy Creation by an act of God’s Mercy, while a disbeliever will suffer and not benefit from its beauty, all depends on your choice and actions in this life.
The Qur’an states:
Quran [19:71-72] There is none of you who will not pass over it. ˹This is˺ a decree your Lord must fulfil. Then We will deliver those who were devout, leaving the wrongdoers there on their knees.”
We may compare this to a good perfume. A healthy person will enjoy its smell, but a sick person will dislike it and get dizzy.
Or we can use the example of solid food, which will be delicious to a healthy person, yet cause suffering to a person with a sick stomach.
As mentioned, the afterlife is the harvest of what you have done in this lifetime, and it is a chance for you to clean your heart and senses from disease. The extent to which you clean your senses will determine whether your pleasure or suffering in the afterlife.
6. If God wanted us to freely choose to worship him – then why threaten us? Does someone with a gun to his head really have free choice?
If you get a driving license to drive a car, does anyone from the traffic authority set down with you while you are driving your car? Answer is No. But there are rules, laws, and regulations. If you drive well, you will not get fines. But if you drive badly and get caught you will get fines and your license might be suspended temporarily or indefinitely, all depends on you and your actions.
In the entirety of Quran there is no threat or compulsion to worship, or to commit any act which you do not freely choose to do. Religion and its practices are a free choice, and we all have the choice to either follow them or not.
The Qur’an mentions:
Quran [2:256] “Let there be no compulsion in religion, for the truth stands out clearly from falsehood. So whoever renounces false gods and believes in Allah has certainly grasped the firmest, unfailing hand-hold. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.”
7. Why does God cause so much suffering to humans? Is it part of God’s test to prompt them to turn to Him in obedience and worship? Isn’t that like a con man who causes a problem then offers to fix it for you?
There is no suffering in religion, the religion was sent to make life easy for humanity, imagine when a human produces anything like a car or a mobile phone or anything, the produce manual includes instructions on how to use the new product that you have just purchased.
Similarly, when Almighty God created humanity, he sent the messages to us, so we follow. The suffering you are referring to is because of NOT following Almighty God instructions. So, all these problems are human made, such as crimes, destruction of planets, greed about what others have and many other things. I am sure you know about that.
Islam gives permissions which makes life easier for a Muslim, one of the best things in Islam and everything in Islam is beautiful (I am speaking as a Muslim; please feel free to share the thoughts of your own religion or secular philosophy) is that Islam does not burden any human being with what he or she cannot handle.
Here are some examples:
Traveling? You do not have to fast.
Tired? You can pray sitting down.
No money? You do not have to perform Hajj.
Poor? You receive ‘Sadaqa=Charity.’
The Holy Qur’an says:
Quran [20:2-3] “We have not revealed the Quran to you ˹O Prophet˺ to cause you distress, but as a reminder to those in awe ˹of Allah˺.”
And that is the beauty of the religion of Islam. Also, Islam does not permit any act of self-torture, and does not allow self-harm or damage to others, except in last-resort, inescapable cases of self-defense, or for the defense of the helpless and the innocent.
Moreover, even maintaining cleanliness and taking care of your body through exercise and eating healthy are acts of worship. So, Islam promotes all kinds of benefits for human beings.
8. Why would God give humans the ability to reason – then punish them for rejecting beliefs their reason cannot reconcile?
Almighty God does not punish anyone for rejecting beliefs their reason cannot reconcile, but punishment comes AFTER the message and EVIDENCE had been brought against them.
Example: If you are a sane and sound student with reason and you know that you must study to pass exams and you need good marks to get into a good college. Despite your reason and everything and knowing the consequences, you still get lazy and do not study. Who should you blame? Education minister? or your School principal or your parents?
No one to blame but YOURSELF.
Islam commands believers to constantly seek knowledge and education. Also, Islam asks its followers to constantly reflect and ponder upon the deeper meanings of its verses, the heavenly signs, and the world around them. Islam forbids you to blindly follow and imitate your fathers and forefathers and encourages each person to seek the truth.
And Allah Almighty will not punish any person for that which he cannot understand, or which is beyond his reasoning or ability to comprehend. If someone was to receive a false image of religion and Islam, then Allah Almighty will surely not punish this person for what he saw as false from Islamic teachings.
So, if there were a person who only learned of Islam from the actions of terrorists and horrible people, then he would surely be rewarded instead, as he rejected a violent version of religion, that should be incompatible with every person’s perception of a truly just God.
And the Qur’an states:
Quran [2:286] “Allah does not require of any soul more than what it can afford. All good will be for its own benefit, and all evil will be to its own loss. ˹The believers pray, ˺ “Our Lord! Do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord! Do not place a burden on us like the one you placed on those before us. Our Lord! Do not burden us with what we cannot bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our ˹only˺ Guardian. So, grant us victory over the disbelieving people.”
9. Why does the human body look suspiciously like it was the result of a long, cumulative process of evolution resulting in imperfections and vestigial organs and genes – and not the result of the instant and perfectly planned creation of Adam and Eve?
Are you suggesting that when you personally look at the mirror you suspect that you and your ancestors did come from fish, sharks, fossils, monkeys, chimpanzees, or donkeys or even you evolved by yourself from a dirt accidently?
Please take no offence but please answer my question?
Almighty Allah in the Noble Quran has stated on numerous occasions that he created humans as human and not from animals or donkeys or chimpanzees despite some superficial similarities which do NOT stand any Scientific evidence.
Even Charles Darwin theory of evolution is theory and has lots of loopholes. It has been Scientifically refuted, please Google refutation of theory of evolution.
The Quran does state that Adam was the first man, and that he descended from heaven. It clearly states that human beings were created in great alignment and shape. It does not mean that there are similarities between human beings and some other creatures that we have evolved from those other creatures.
I would like to ask you to provide me with just one single scientifically full documented case for any animal that evolved to be human. Or a fish that evolved to be a bear or a monkey that turned out to be a human. Just one single scientifically full documented case.
If you have a fish in a water tank at your home. I am sure 100% that if you look after it and feed it properly, it will NEVER evolve to be a shark or monkey and will NEVER turn into a human even after 100 million years, regardless of the circumstances.
The first human to receive Divine revelation was Adam peace be upon him as written in the Qur’an:
Quran [2:30] “˹Remember˺ when your Lord said to the angels, “I am going to place a successive ˹human˺ authority on earth.” They asked ˹Allah˺, “Will You place in it someone who will spread corruption there and shed blood while we glorify Your praises and proclaim Your holiness?” Allah responded, “I know what you do not know.”
The Quran teaches that God created humans through a guided process, and not a result of chance or pure accident as some theories state, such as the unproven theory of evolution. In many places, the Qur’an shows that it was the Divine plan to take the creation of humans through stages from clay of the earth etc. as per the Noble Quran description, resulting in where we are today.
Quran (15:26 “Indeed, we created man from sounding clay moulded from black mud.”
Quran [71:15] “when He truly created you in stages ˹of development˺?”.

10. Which is more evil, the imperfect creature who commits evil or the perfect entity which created evil?
If you are a married man and have five sons, you love your sons all the and do your best to see them in great positions on all fronts whether it is financial, marital, health and everything. You have been doing your best along with your wife to raise them as per these expectations. But for some unknown reason to you, one of your sons ends up being a serial killer.
Is it you and your wife fault? But this logic as background, Almighty God created everything including the evil, Satan or devil. But the devil out of his own conscious free will thought of himself to be better than Adam and refused to obey Almighty God’s instructions out of pride, jealousy, and hatred towards Adam. Therefore, you cannot blame God.
Evil is the absence of good, just as darkness is the absence of light. Essentially, you are the creator of your own evil actions, as mentioned in the Qur’an:
Quran [17:13-15] “We have bound every human’s destiny to their neck. And on the Day of Judgment We will bring forth to each ˹person˺ a record which they will find laid open. ˹And it will be said, ˺ “Read your record. You ˹alone˺ are sufficient this Day to take account of yourself. Whoever chooses to be guided, it is only for their own good. And whoever chooses to stray, it is only to their own loss. No soul burdened with sin will bear the burden of another. And We would never punish ˹a people˺ until We have sent a messenger ˹to warn them˺.”
Is being good because you fear God, really being good?
Yes, absolutely example, by following the law and being a good citizen are you being good? Who is stopping you from committing crimes?
You have the choice to be a criminal despite the existence of laws, but you choose to be a good citizen. And to constantly seek to be a better version of yourself for the love of God and obeying him, then Almighty God will reward you accordingly.
But let me ask why, when a follower of Islam commits a crime; others are quick to blame the entire Muslim population; but when a Muslim does a good deed, his faith is not given any credit, it just goes to show the dualism and hypocrisy of some non-Muslims.
The correct application of the teachings of Islam will definitely make any bad person a good person, and a good person a better person.
But the correct application of atheism will not make any person any different from what they already are, basing morality on atheism showed us historically that the worst tyrants and dictators in human history most of them were atheists such as Stalin in Russia.
This is a favorable point for Islam and all points of Islam are favours from Almighty Allah to us.
There are loads of beautiful Islamic teachings that I can copy and paste in relation to this point, but I will share just one here in order not to make this a longer article. For more, any reader may refer to the Qur’an and read the entire Holy book, which is full of guidance.
God says in the Qur’an:
Quran [41:35] “Good and evil cannot be equal. Respond ˹to evil˺ with what is best, then the one you are in a feud with will be like a close friend.”
11. Why did God send all *known* prophets, miracles, and books to one area of the world and at a time when people were superstitious and gullible?
It is your false perception, you do not have physical evidence to support your claim, not knowing all the facts does not mean that they did not happen, and even Almighty God in the Noble Quran stated that IF a nation or people did not receive his message, then they will not be punished.
“Whoever chooses to be guided, it is only for their own good. And whoever chooses to stray, it is only to their own loss. No soul burdened with sin will bear the burden of another. And We would never punish ˹a people˺ until We have sent a messenger ˹to warn them˺.” Surah Al-Isra= Chapter the Night Journey (17:15)
God sent Prophets almost to all nations and to all people.
The Qur’an states:
Quran [35:25] “We have surely sent you with the truth as a deliverer of good news and a warner. There is no community that has not had a warner.”
Prophets have removed superstitions from their people, just like Abraham removed the human sacrifices from his people, and Moses removed Gullibility from his people. And Muhammad Peace be upon him removed all forms of impurity from Arabs, like the worshiping of stones, killing of daughters, treating wives as slaves, treating non-Arabs as second class and many others.
12. Why did God only protect the Qur’an from corruption? Couldn’t he have protected the Bible and prevented billions claiming he has a son?
IF you are a Chief Executive Officer or Manager of a big company, you usually issue regular instructions to employees. Obviously, you send updated instructions. Why would you like your employees to remember the old instructions that had been already superseded and updated by your new instructions?
The old instructions were suitable for certain times in the past. Only the core of the old instructions or standards remains and with the new instructions in place as a manager you want all your employees to focus and concentrate on following the new instructions, right?
You can read the Bible front to back and you will not find Jesus claiming himself as a Divine form of God. But he does claim to be a servant of God. The term “Son of God means servant of God in original language” and the reference to God as “father meant God in original language” were and still are, ways that true servants of God refer to Him in Judaism.
These ways of referring to God were used by Prophets like David in the Hebrew Bible, so unsurprisingly, Jesus also refers to God using this terminology in the New Testament. However, there is no source of the “divinity” of Jesus Christ in the New Testament.
[Genesis 6:2] That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3: And the Lord said, my spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.
4: There were giants in the earth in those days; and, after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
5: And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6: And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
[Exodus 4:22] Then say to Pharaoh, ‘This is what the LORD says: Israel is my firstborn son,
When reading the New Testament, the only story discovered is that of a true worshipper of God spending his night praying to the Creator to help him and to remove this “cup” to save him from a sentenced punishment. If Jesus himself was the Divine, then who was he praying to? And why, then would the will of Jesus be different from the will of God?
[Luke 22:42] Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.
It was not until the councils of Nicea and Laodicea, where men gathered and VOTED for the idea of a “divine” Jesus that Christians in general began to think this way. But it was something the early Christians rejected.
It is also important to add that the continuation of religion is not only a result of former corruption, but also fulfillment of prophecies made by previous prophets and rectifying the part corruption that occurred to the Bible by the clergy such as priests and Rabbis.
[Matthew 21:43] Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.
We Muslims believe God has revealed teachings in stages that are suitable for the guidance of people at a particular time, while also considering the different tribal and social needs of each geographical location. In this way, we see the ‘Shariah’ of Adam peace be upon him as basic and portraying the needs of basic people, while the ‘Shariah’ of Noah is a somewhat more advanced instructions and teaching, which the people of Adam would might have considered as a burden.
Thus, it is with the Shariah of Moses and of people from different geographical locations. As Allah Almighty says in the Qur’an that for every nation a prophet was sent. But we see Islam as the last UNIVERAL religion, one that is suitable for all mankind in past since prophet Muhammed peace be upon him, present or future time and place, and this gradual revelation of religion as a necessity for the condition of every age.
And people without an understanding of currency and commerce per se, would not have had the benefit and responsibility of taking out a percentage of their wealth as ‘Zakat.’
On a final note, the corruption that the Qur’an condemns is the deliberate removal of Scriptural contexts to suit the whims and vested interests of certain Christian and Jews scholars and the political rulers of the time, and not just the partial corruption of the verses themselves.
Since we Muslims believe that the true word of God can never be removed, even if a religious text were butchered through the process of multiple translations and the addition of insincere commentaries of scribes, a man could still read any historical book and quickly realize where some verses might have been altered.
Qur’an condemns the twisting of the words and ‘cherry-picking’ of the context only to suit one’s preconceived thoughts. This was, in a way, a warning for future Muslims as well; that some Muslims will TRY to do the same thing to the Quran by deliberately emitting entire verses (by abrogation) and CREATING new NARRATIVES that the Quran does not support.
[4:46] “Some Jews take words out of context and say, “We listen, and we disobey,” “Hear! May you never hear,” and “Râ’ina!” [Herd us!]—playing with words and discrediting the faith. Had they said ˹courteously˺, “We hear and obey,” “Listen to us,” and “Unẓurna,” [Tend to us!] it would have been better for them and more proper. Allah has condemned them for their disbelief, so they do not believe except for a few.
13. What was so special about prophet Jesus that God made him born to a virgin? Took him up to heaven before he was crucified? And is going to bring him back again before the day of judgment?
Since you are an atheist, I guess you like to do whatever you want in the time you want to show that you are an independent able person. Right?
If this is what you think as a human, I invite you to think more and understand that Almighty God decides whatever he wants and he created whatever he wants and this demonstrates for us his unlimited abilities and capabilities, those called miracles that evidence to us his uniqueness as the only God and king of kings.
Well, why didn’t you ask a more worthy question such as what was so special about Adam to be created from nothing without any parents? Adam creation is more miraculous than Prophet Jesus.
Here is a biblical prophecy about the miraculous birth of Prophet Jesus to virgin Maryam=Mary.
[Isaiah 7:14] Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel.
However, this virgin birth constitutes a warning to the Jewish people; specifically, that this would be the last Prophet that would come from the Jewish people; that the line of Prophets from them will end and be given to their brethren (the descendants of Ishmael peace be upon him).
As written in the Bible:
[Deuteronomy 18:18] I will raise up for them a prophet like you* from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.
*” Like you” as in like Moses peace be upon him, a law-bearing Prophet, and a leader of his community. And this came to pass with the advent of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, a law-bearing Prophet, and a leader of his people.
This is in short, the meaning of the Virgin Birth. As per his supposed and purported physical “resurrection,” Jesus was saved by Almighty Allah from getting killed on any cross and was elevated to the sky and will return in his physical body as a Muslim and follower of Prophet Muhammed since Prophet Muhammed is the last and final messenger.
The Qur’an states:
[7:25] “He added, “There you will live, there you will die, and from there you will be resurrected.”
And this applies to Jesus as well as to the rest of creation, and as for the second coming of Jesus, we believe that this prophecy refers to the second coming of Prophet Jesus, that had been prophesied by Prophet Muhammed peace be upon him.
14. Do you believe it is acceptable for a husband to hit a rebellious wife?
No, I do not believe it is acceptable to violently hit a rebellious wife or hit her at all out of the blue, now this is a counter argument for you, when someone makes a mistake sometimes, they hit or slap THEMSELVES to remind themselves that they have made a mistake. Does that mean that they are really “hitting” themselves?
No, it’s just a gentle reminder to not do this again. Islam just wants us to GENTLEY remind the wife that she made a mistake. In Islam, a family should have a leader and he is usually the man and no we are not talking about patriarchal dictatorship image that had been portrayed by the non-Muslim media about Islam. I will simplify it for you. Any plane has ONE PILOT – anyone else called co-pilot.
The Final decision while flying is for the PILOT ALONE to ensure accountability, if a co-pilot made a mistake, he/she will be reprimanded agree?
No doubt that the co-pilot is important and participates in the decision-making process. Again, how many presidents or kings for each country? Answer is ONE. This does not mean that the husband should be abusive in any way shape or form on the contrary there is hadith for Prophet Muhammed warn against being abusive towards women and the vulnerable and not look after them.
By the way, all these examples proves that there is ONE GOD too
The verse in question:
Quran [4:34] “Men are the caretakers of women, as men have been provisioned by Allah over women and tasked with supporting them financially. And righteous women are devoutly obedient and, when alone, protective of what Allah has entrusted them with. And if you sense ill-conduct from your women, advise them ˹first˺, ˹if they persist, ˺ do not share their beds, ˹but if they still persist, ˺ then discipline them ˹gently˺. But if they change their ways, DO NOT BE UNJUST TO THEM. Surely Allah is Most High, All-Great.”
The disobedience mentioned is not the mere rejection of her husband’s opinion, but the actuality of being evil in her rebellious ways, and aggressive and abusive either to the husband or the children.
As for beating, in Islam it is forbidden to physically punish any person and leave a mark on the person’s body. Yet regardless, the Holy Prophet peace be upon him also said that he who beats his wife is not a good man.
For more details, please check the reference link at the end of this article. Titled: Analysing the so-called ‘Wife Beating Verse’: 4:34 of the Holy Quran
15. Why is beating one’s wife allowed in Islam?
Please read the answer to the previous question too. It is not allowed at all in any way shape or form as you may imagine, and it is not expected for any man to beat his wife. But this is referring to an extraordinary situation where there are several remedial suggestions mentioned which should first be attempted.
The first is admonishment. If that does not work, then the husband may leave the bed, symbolizing the idea of a partial separation. If neither of these approaches work, then he may resort to a physical nudge to inform the wife that their problem has gotten serious, and would cause actual separation and divorce, leading to suffering for themselves and their children.
This last “beating” treatment is not a beating at all, but only a physical alert to avoid the worst-case scenario in a rare occurrence.
It is unfair to misrepresent this point to say Islam encourages wife beating, and to dismiss the countless teachings that Islam presents which elevate the status of a woman to a mother, under whose feet rests heaven itself.
Islam teaches that the best of men is those who are good to their wives. We would like those who raise allegations to represent the full picture regarding women in Islam, instead of only focusing on what suits their preconceived notions.

16. Why do so many characteristics of Allah like anger and vengefulness seem like human ones?
1) If I say to you, you have muscular body like steel, does that mean you are made from steel? Does that mean that if you touch the water that your body will rust like steel?
Obviously, that is not the case. Almighty Allah has attributes and just to make it close to our minds, He tells us what we can understand.
2) If you look at the universe, galaxies, stars etc. they are magnificent, well a human makes magnificent work but no comparison between what Almighty Allah created magnificently and between what human has done magnificently. NO COMPARISON.
Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was a perfect testament to this. The people of Quraish tribe had wasted no effort to purge all Muslims from Mecca, but when the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him returned victoriously to Mecca, he forgave everybody who previously hurt him and the rest of Muslims. He even sent out messages to people who had fled in fear of retributive punishment, telling them to return safely and to live freely among the Muslims.
Islam promotes forgiveness. One amazing story (among countless others) that exemplifies this is that when the mercy of the Prophet (peace be upon him) even extended to those who brutally killed and then mutilated the body of his uncle Hamzah, one of the most beloved of people to the Prophet. Hamzah was one of the earliest to accept Islam and, through his power and position in the Quraishite hierarchy, diverted much harm from the Muslims.
The wife of Abu Sufyan, Hind, sought out and killed Hamza in the battle of Uhud. The night before the victory of Makkah, Abu Sufyan accepted Islam, fearing the vengeance of the Prophet (may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him). The latter forgave him and sought no retribution for his years of enmity.
If Almighty Allah were a vengeful and angry deity, this would have shown in the Prophet peace be upon him that He sent as an example and model to mankind.
Quran [3:159] “It is out of Allah’s mercy that you ˹O Prophet˺ have been lenient with them. Had you been cruel or hard-hearted, they would have certainly abandoned you. So, pardon them, ask Allah’s forgiveness for them, and consult with them in ˹conducting˺ matters. Once you make a decision, put your trust in Allah. Surely Allah loves those who trust in Him.”
Quran [33:21] “Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah often.”
17. Why does the Qur’an say do not ask questions about things, when the answer would trouble you? Should followers of other religions also not ask questions about their religion when it might trouble them?
There is an English proverb that says: for every context, a saying. If you have a 5-year-old son and he is asking you to teach them how to drive a car or how to be enlisted in the military service in the army or how to get to start a commercial pilot course to fly a plane. Are these really these sorts of questions that you would like your son at this age to ask or would you encourage him to ask?
Wouldn’t you encourage your son to focus on learning how to read and write first?
God is not saying to not ask questions at all. God is saying do not ask for the whole Qur’an to be revealed to you in a minute, as the immediate revelation of the Qur’an in its entirety would have been burdensome and difficult to manage for the people of pre-Islamic Arabia. Thus, God revealed the Qur’an in steps to guarantee proper foundation for the early Muslims and the society in general. This is the verse in question:
Quran [5:101] “O believers! Do not ask about any matter which, if made clear to you, may disturb you. But if you inquire about what is being revealed in the Quran, it will be made clear to you. Allah has forgiven what was done ˹in the past˺. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Forbearing.”
18. Why will God never forgive polytheism=Shirk? What are they guilty of? Ignorance? Being born to the wrong family?
If you are an employer and you hired an unskilled man to work for you, after you spent lots of money on training him and spent a lot of time and effort to make sure that this person gained all the required skills to work for you. After that person completes all his training with you. He decides to leave your business and work for your competitor and start to talk awfully bad about you. The question here is: Would you ever forgive or trust that person ever?
Bearing in mine the above example: Almighty God did not hire us, he CREATED us from NOTHING and Provided us with EVERYTHING and instructed us to be GRATEFUL to him ALONE. Why would you take Almighty God uncounted blessings such as health, wealth, food, etc. and go worship Buddha or Jesus or be an atheist refusing to acknowledge that there is God created you. So that person is not just being born to the wrong family or being ignorant, but he deliberately chooses not to accept Almighty God and follow the true message of Islam.
This previous example represents the following Concepts in Islam:
The polytheism=In Islam, shirk (Arabic: شرك širk) is the sin of idolatry or polytheism (i.e., the deification or worship of anyone or anything besides Allah). Islam teaches that God does not share His divine attributes with any partner. Associating partners with God is disallowed according to the Islamic doctrine of Tawhid (monotheism). Mušrikūn مشركون (pl. of mušrik مشرك) are those who practice shirk, which literally means “association” and refers to accepting other gods and divinities alongside God (as God’s “associates”).
The Qur’an considers shirk as a sin that will not be forgiven if a person dies without repenting of it.
Also, one of the meanings of Shirk is, to be afraid of something more than God; to associate material goods with God Himself; to wrongly think that simple human beings can change the trajectory of your future, instead of God Almighty.
Yes, it is human nature to be afraid of aggressors, harmful animals etc. But your faith must be solid enough to know that everything in Almighty God hands and ask him for help, that said, asking for assistance and help within reason from people is not shirk as long as it does not violate Islam teachings.
But with the same breath, God will not punish people for what is beyond their understanding if the message of Islam never reached them and they will be judged accordingly.
God says in the Qur’an:
Quran [21:47] “We will set up the scales of justice on the Day of Judgment, so no soul will be wronged in the least. And ˹even˺ if a deed is the weight of a mustard seed, we will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as a ˹vigilant˺ Reckoner.”
19. The Qur’an criticizes idolaters for following the religion of their parents. Are you Muslims any different?
The blind following of any religion as a cultural habit is frowned upon in Islam. Even if a person is born into a Muslim family, he must discover learn the religion for himself. For example, if a Muslim’s parents were following cultural habits that contradict the Quran. The child is responsible to NOT duplicate his parents’ mistakes, and to seek his own ways that comply with the words of God.
The Qur’an states:
Quran [5:104] “When it is said to them, “Come to Allah’s revelations and to the Messenger,” they reply, “What we found our forefathers practicing is good enough for us.” ˹Would they still do so, ˺ even if their forefathers had absolutely no knowledge or guidance?”
20. You believe non-Muslims are following false, corrupted, or unfounded beliefs? Are you certain you Muslims are not also the same?
Despite lots of lies and black propaganda surrounding Islam, Islam is the absolute truth protected by Almighty God’s promise to preserve it as the last and final message to humanity. Islam is crystal-clear logical evidence-based Faith.
With such as multiple Scientific evidence discovered by non-Muslim Western Scientists in the Noble Quran and Authentic tradition=Sunnah and Hadith of Prophet Muhammed peace be upon him.
The idea of “false belief” is subjective. What is true for me may be false for another person. My Qur’an teaches me to respect everybody despite our differences unless they are not aggressors, then we are ordered to defend ourselves.
Also, the Qur’an teaches to respect others and their beliefs and not to create conflicts with followers of other schools of thoughts but debate them with wisdom and good advice.
Moreover, the Qur’an teaches to be just against those who have their own issues with me and my religion, and not let animosity take precedence over fairness.
The Qur’an says:
Quran [5:105] “O believers! You are accountable only for yourselves. It will not harm you if someone chooses to deviate—as long as you are ˹rightly˺ guided. To Allah you will all return, and He will inform you of what you used to do.”
