Quran 3:192

3:192“Our Lord! any whom Thou dost admit to the Fire, Truly Thou coverest with shame, and never will wrong-doers Find any helpers!
Rabbana innaka man tudkhili alnnarafaqad akhzaytahu wama lilththalimeenamin ansarin

Quran: 19:71

19:71Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished.
Wa-in minkum illa wariduhakana AAala rabbika hatman maqdiyyan

Verse 3:192 speaks about  โ€˜fireโ€™ , those who will enter the โ€˜fireโ€™  and Not  โ€˜hellโ€™  will be disgraced, while verse speaks specifically about โ€˜itโ€™ (a reference to hell) and not  โ€˜fireโ€™. Entering hell doesnโ€™t necessarily mean that people will be touched or enter litery the fire.

Secondly, verse 19:71 used the word  โ€˜wariduhakanaโ€™ , verse 3:192 not, verse 3:192 doesnโ€™t say those who โ€˜wariduhakanaโ€™ will be disgraced.

Notice how Allah in the quran makes a clear distinction between entering hell and entering fire, which proves that entering hell in verse 19:71 doesnโ€™t necessarily mean โ€˜touched by the fireโ€™.

Lets us look at verses 3:191  (which the christians didnโ€™t quote, since it as a verse that exposed their lie) and 3:192:

3:191:

Allatheena yathkuroona Allaha qiyaman waquAAoodan waAAala junoobihim wayatafakkaroona fee khalqi alssamawati waal-ardi rabbana ma khalaqta hatha batilan subhanaka faqina AAathaba alnnari

Those who mention/remember God standing , and sitting, and on their sides, and they think in the skies’/space’s and the earth’s/Planet Earth’s creation, “Our Lord, you have not created that wastefully ,your praise/glory, so protect us (from)/make us avoid the fireโ€™s torture

3:192

Rabbana innaka man tudkhili alnnarafaqad akhzaytahu wama lilththalimeenamin ansarin

Our Lord! any whom Thou dost admit to the Fire, Truly Thou coverest with shame, and never will wrong-doers Find any helpers!

Note: clearly verse 3:191 speaks about the  โ€˜torture of the fireโ€™ , and so verse 3:192 refers to those who are โ€˜tortured by the fire are covered with shameโ€™

Thus verse 3:192 doesnโ€™t say โ€˜thou dost wariduhakana the fireโ€™   , so โ€˜wariduhakanaโ€™ in verse 19:71 doesnโ€™t mean that believers get tortured by the fire since verse 19:71 speaks about entering โ€˜hell/itโ€™  not entering โ€˜fireโ€™. Secondly all the commentaries.

And hadith quoted by the christian missionary in his article proof that the believers in hell with NOT gen tortured by the fire, some say they will walk over a bridge, some say the fire touches them, but the believer doesnโ€™t feel anything and therefor isnโ€™t tortured (put to shame) , others say the believers will walk next to the fire, but wonโ€™t be touched by it etc.

All agree that verse 19:71 doesnโ€™t mean believers will first get tortured (covered with shame) , entering hell does not mean this at all. Hell is not only fire, but an unpleasant place with many stones, and every believers once in hell (but not tortured) off course will hope that he will be taken away from it, but clearly, the believers in verse 19:71 arenโ€™t put to shame, since โ€˜those who are tortured by the fire are covered with shame, and Not the believers in verse 19:71.

So there’s no contradiction at all between verse 3:192 and verse 19:71, since both mean something different !  The Christian missionaries forced the meaning that โ€˜entering hell โ€˜ means โ€˜torture by the fireโ€™ which is not true!

Also if we for the sake of argument say that โ€˜itโ€™ in verse 19:71 refers to the hellfire, then stil the verse nowhere says  โ€˜believers will feel pain /feel it or will get tortured by โ€˜itโ€™ , the opposite is true.

Also Sulaiman Ibn Murrah said THAT EVERYONE SHALL ENTER IT (hell). Then he placed his fingers near his ears and said, “I would have remained silent had I not heard the apostle of Allah -pbuh- say,

โ€˜There shall not remain a righteous or sinful person but shall enter hellTo the believer the fire will be cool and pleasant as it was to Abraham to the point that hell will be noisy because the believers are coldThen Allah will save those who have avoided (evil) and greatly torment the sinners in it.โ€™

(after the day of judgement Allah swt will save those who have avoided evil)

Now cool and pleasent is certainly not a torture , so believers are not tortured by the fire (meaning covered with shame, see 3:191 & 3;192 ) .The commentaries and hadith confirm that the believers in verse 19:71 wonโ€™t feel anything and wonโ€™t get tortured (covered with shame) by it.  Ibn kathirs tafsir reports the following hadith

Narrated by Imam Ahmed, narrated by Abdel Rahman, narrated by Israel, narrated by Al-Suddi, narrated by Murrah, narrated by Abdallah, who is known as Ibn Masโ€™ud, regarding (Surah 19:71) โ€˜Not one of you but will pass through (Waridu-ha) it.โ€™

The prophet said, “All people will enter (Yarud) hell and exit it by their deeds.” This was also narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, narrated by Abd Ibn Hamid, narrated by Ubaid Allah, narrated by Israel, narrated by Al-Suddi. This was also narrated through Shuโ€™bah, narrated by Al-Suddi, narrated by Murrah, narrated by Ibn Masโ€™ud.

So this is enough to proof that โ€˜itโ€™ in verse 19:71 refers to โ€˜yarud /hellโ€™ and Not โ€˜hellfireโ€™ or โ€˜fireโ€™.  There are some weak hadith in tabari from ordinary muslims like โ€˜kaโ€™b ( a jewish convert to islam)  wich say that hellfire will touch the believers, but these arenโ€™t the words of the prophet (saw) and neither the words of Allah swt in the Quran.

Islam = Quran and the authentic hadith from OUR PROPHET (saw), and not the opinion of some commentators not based on the words of the prophet, Neither the prophet (saw) nor Allah swt told tat believers will get โ€˜tortured by the fireโ€™  , some commentators and muslims confused โ€˜just being in hellโ€™ with โ€˜torture of fire in hellโ€™ .

To say that verse 19:71 contradicts verse 66:7-8 (where Allah swt promises that believers wonโ€™t be converd with shame)  the Christian missionaries need to quote a Quranic verse which says that the believers โ€˜will be tortured by the fireโ€™ on the day of judgment (since verse 19:71 doesnโ€™t speak about the torture of fire) .

And only those who are tortured by the fire (see verse 3:191 and 3:192)  are โ€˜coverd with shameโ€™  not those who just โ€˜ enter hell without being tortured by the fireโ€™ , also the prophet (saw) never said that believers will be โ€˜tortured by the fireโ€™ ,

he only said that everyone will enter Yarud (hell) first, but he didnโ€™t mention anything of torture for the believers, so believers are clearly โ€˜not covered with shame (tortured by the fire) โ€˜ in Islam. Also it is narrated that the prophet (saw) in another hadith mentioned in Ibn kathirs tafsir he said:

Narrated by Abdel Razak, narrated by Mumar, narrated by Qatada who said, (Surah 19:71) โ€˜Not one of you but will pass through it (wurood),โ€™ means to go through. Also, Abdel Rahman Ibn Zaid Ibn Aslam stated regarding (Surah 19:71) โ€˜Not one of you but will pass through it,โ€™ that Muslims will pass over (“wurood”) hell on a bridge,

while the infidels will pass through hell. The prophet -pbuh- said, “The men and women who will be passing on the bridge (of Sirat) on judgment day will be many and there will be two groups of angels supplicating and saying โ€˜O Allah! Save, save.โ€™

The prophetโ€™s word are islamic verdicts and not the (wit hall respect) the opinion of muslim like kaโ€™b (a jewish convert) or a commentator, they have opinions, but the prophetโ€™s words are islamic verdicts, only the Word of Allah swt in the Quran and the authentic hadith of the prophet (saw) are islamic verdicts,

And again in this the prophet (saw) makes clear that the believers wont be tortured by the โ€˜fireโ€™ (covered with shame) . and again theres no contradiction with verse 66:7-8

Quran 66:7-8

O you who disbelieve! do not urge excuses today; you shall be rewarded only according to what you did. O you who believe! turn to Allah a sincere turning; maybe your Lord will remove from you your evil and cause you to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow,

on the day on which Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him; their light shall run on before them and on their right hands; they shall say: Our Lord! make perfect for us our light, and grant us protection, surely Thou hast power over all things.

Clearly, verse 66:7-8 promises the believers that on the day of judgement they will not be tortured with fire, secondly, Allah swt tells us that it is likely that je will forgive the believers who committed sinds after the day of judgment, believers must repent ton the day of judgment for their sins, and Allah swt tells them that the change their is that he will remove all their sins/evil deeds.

And grant them to paradise after the day of judgment, one thing however os sure, any believer (one with evil deeds and one without evil deeds) will not be tortured with hellfire on the day of judgement,if the believers who commited evil deeds will be saved from hellfite AFTER that the day of judgement is only in the hands of Allah swt. The unbelievers however like the people of Pharao will be tortured with hell fire on the day of judgement:

Quran  40:46

The fire; they shall be brought before it (every) morning and evening and on the day when the hour shall come to passMake Firon’s people enter the severest chastisement.

Nowhere does the quran say that believers will be tortured with fire (covered with shame) on the day of judgement like the unbelievers (which is the case with Fironโ€™s people for example) , so theres no contradiction.

Secondly, the hadith of the prophet (saw) tells us two things:

1: believers will be on a bridge over hell (or in hell)  on the day of judgment, but they wonโ€™t be tortured by the hellfire

2: to the believer the fire will be cool and pleasant as it was to Abraham to the point that hell will be noisy because the believers are cold ,so the believers are not tortured with hell fire.

Itโ€™s clear the believers will not beโ€™covered with shame/tortured with hell fire ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT, what happens after it with some believers who committed sinds, only Allah swt and inschaโ€™allah swt will forgive them, and i sincere also hope Allah swt will forgive everyone with a good heart inschaโ€™allah.

Now let us see what the Bible says:

All Christians are Going to hell according to Matthew 7: 21-23

Facts:

1. They are evil doers according to Matthew 9: 3-4 by saying Jesus is God.

2. They call Jesus Lord, lord, and claim to do things in the name of Jesus Yet they do not do the will of God as it is done in heaven, Christians do not Obey God. it is written God is One and has no other God Besides him, Christians says NO god is three in One or Jesus is God

3. Jesus never Knew Them and never Knew anything about Christianity which was Formed about 50 years after ascension of Jesus.

Matthew 7; 21-23

21 โ€œNot everyone who says to me, โ€˜Lord, Lord, โ€™will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me on that day, โ€˜Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?โ€™

23 Then I will tell them plainly, โ€˜I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!โ€™

Matthew 6: 9-10 CEV

9 You should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, help us to honor your name.

10 Come and set up your kingdom, so that everyone on earth will obey you, as you are obeyed in heaven.

Allah knows best.
