I tell non-Muslims that Allah created everything in this universe. They ask me who created Allah.

How can Allah have been there since the beginning?

How can I answer them?

Answer

Praise be to Allah.

They Say: Who Created Allah video?

This question is an ancient question, and it is called Infinite question: which means if you to ask who created Allah, then you will NEVER stop asking this question who created the Creator and so on FOR EVER. IF you keep asking that- This necessarily means that NOTHING HAD BEEN CREATED YET โ€“Because the Creator is being Created by another Creator who is not created yet but waiting to be created and so on.BUT since WE DO EXIST then the buck stops SOMEWHERE. In Other words- That question CAN NOT KEEP GOING FOR EVER because we already have creation existing (us)

This question which the non-Muslims have asked you is inherently false and self-contradictory. If we were to say โ€“ for the sake of argument โ€“ that someone created Allah, then they would ask you, who created the creator of the Creator? Then, who created the creator of the creator of the creator?!

And so on, ad infinitum. This is irrational and impossible. All of creation goes back to the Creator Who created all things.

No one created Him; He created everything other than Himself. This is what makes sense and is logical. This Creator is Allah, may He be glorified and exalted.

With regard to what our religion tells us, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told us about this question, where it comes from, and how to respond to it.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: โ€œPeople will keep on asking questions until someone will say, โ€˜Allah created the universe, but who created Allah?โ€™ Whoever encounters anything like that, let him say, โ€˜Amantu Billaah (I believe in Allah).โ€™โ€

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: โ€œThe Shaytan will come to one of you and say, โ€˜Who created heaven? Who created the earth?โ€™ He will say, โ€˜Allahโ€™โ€ โ€“ then he mentioned something similar (to the previous report), and added, โ€œAnd His Messengers.โ€ [i.e., amantu Billaah wa Rusulihi = I believe in Allah and His Messengers]

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: โ€œThe Shaytan will come to one of you and say, โ€˜Who created such and such?โ€™ until he says to him, โ€˜Who created your Lord?โ€™

When it reaches that stage, let him seek refuge with Allah [say Aโ€™oodhu Billaahi min ash-shaytaan ir-rajeem = I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Shaytan] and stop thinking about it.โ€

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: โ€œThe Shaytan will come to a person and say, โ€˜Who created such and suchโ€ฆโ€™โ€ and he narrated the whole report. (Imaam Muslim, 134).

In these ahadith (Prophetic narrations) we see:

Where this question comes from โ€“ from the Shaytan:

How to deal with it, which is:

to stop pursuing these thoughts and these tricks of the Shaytan

to say, โ€œI believe in Allah and His Messengersโ€

to seek refuge with Allah from the Shaytan.

It was also reported that one should spit drily three times to oneโ€™s left and recite Qul Huwa Allahu ahad.

(See “Problems and Solutions” in the Shaykhโ€™s Books section of this website).

3. With regard to the prior existence of Allah, our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has told us about this, for example:

He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: โ€œO Allah, you are the First and there is nothing before You; O Allah, you are the Last and there is nothing after You.โ€ (Narrated by Muslim, 2713)

He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: โ€œAllah existed when there was nothing apart from Him.โ€ According to another report: โ€œThere was nothing before Him.โ€ (Narrated by al-Bukhari; the first report 3020; the second report 6982).

This is in addition to what is stated in the ฤyฤt (verses) of the Qurโ€™รขn. The believer believes without a doubt, the non-Muslim denies and the munaafiq (hypocrite) doubts. We ask Allah to grant us sincere and certain faith with no doubts. And Allah is the Source of strength.

Allah knows Best.–

Non-Muslims ask who created Allah?

How should a Muslim answer, who created God?

If Allah created everything, who created Allah?

Who created Allah if he created everything? who created him?

Almighty Allah is the highest and most knowledgeable, and the attribution of knowledge to him is the safest.

Right from Almighty Allah and wrong from me and Satan

Arrogance is not only a sign of insecurity, but also a sign of immaturity. Mature and fully realised persons can get their points across, even emphatically without demeaning or intimidating others.
