In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Arabs at the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would prescribe camelโ€™s urine for various sicknesses but this has no religious significance in Islam.

There is an authentic report in which the Prophet prescribed camelโ€™s urine as medicine for some of his companions. Camelโ€™s urine was recognized in Arab custom as having medicinal properties. Ibn Al-Qayyim reports that the famous philosopher Avicenna (Ibn Sina) mentioned camelโ€™s urine in his work on classical Arab medicine:

There are even some modern medicines which are derived from animal urine, such as premarin.

However, it is important to understand that the use of camel urine was strictly an Arab custom at the time of the Prophet and it has no special religious significance. Ibn Khaldun mentions the traditions on this topic and then he writes:

โ€The medicine mentioned in the religious tradition is of the Bedouin type. It is in no way part of the divine revelation. (Such medical matters) were merely part of the Arab custom and happened to be mentioned in connection with the circumstances of the Prophet, like other things that were customary in his generation.

They were not mentioned in order to imply that that particular way of practicing medicine is stipulated by the religious law. Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, was sent to teach us the religious law (sharia). He was not sent to teach us medicine or any other ordinary matter.

Therefore, there is no particular reward for the use of camelโ€™s urine, but rather it is only permissible as a matter of custom. In fact, if better medical treatments are available, then we recommend for Muslims to use those alternative treatments. In this regard, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

Camel urine drinking is not a mandatory instruction in Islam, or a tradition of Prophet Muhammed peace be upon him. However, fifteen centuries ago, in the middle of the Arabian desert and in the absence of modern pharmaceutical medicines.

People including Jews, Christian, Arab Pagans used tried various herps and fluids, camel urine was one of them. Prophet Muhammed peace be upon him approved Camel urine based on what Allah taught him.

Such approval of camel urine was for emergency medical treatment and was not a mandatory Islamic practice. It is worth noting the modern medical examinations proves the various medical benefits of using camel urine as a medical treatment for those who do not mind using it.

There have been several European and Western non-Muslim companies producing Beer by using human urine as well as there have been many other non-Muslim European and Western companies providing what they call it Urine Therapy.

The Danish “PISNER” beer is made from human urine.

And the company collects more than 50,000 liters per day of human urine from designated collection points in public parks and spread in the open air, and it pays a fee for those who urinate at these points, amounting to 4 euros per liter of urine.

After that, the urine is transported in tanks to the factory, where it is analyzed, sterilized, and filtered from toxins, before it is recycled and packaged to be ready for consumption.

Most of the beer is consumed in Denmark, and the price of one bottle is 37 euros. The surplus is exported to the rest of European countries, especially Sweden. As the beer has a quality certificate from the European Food and Drug Authority.

Beer Made from Urine at This Singapore Brewery

Singapore has taken โ€œinnovationsโ€ in beer-brewing a notch higher with the introduction of ‘Newbrew.’ While it may appear or taste like usual beer, there’s an unconventional twist to it. The brewery’s unique craft beer is made using ‘Newater,’ Singapore’s brand of clean, high-quality water recycled from sewage and urine.

the Arab secularist and enemies of Islam, are ready to drink this beer because his European masters drink it. but he attacks drinking camel urine for treatment, which is a confirmed prophetic Sunnah, although most scientific studies have proven the health benefits of urine for camels.

Note:

For your information, this is not the only company that manufactures beer from urine. There are other companies in the Czech Republic, Norway, Sweden, and Poland that make beer from horse urine or reindeer urine, which is the most common in these countries.

Success comes from Allah, and Allah knows best.
