Islam is very strict when it comes to justice, but why complain and argue about something that will not affect you? Who are the people that should complain about Shariah Law?

They are the people who are going to be affected by it; they are the ones who should be complaining. Who are the people who are going to be affected by it?

It’s those rapists, drug dealers, murderers, thieves, armed robbers, fornicators, adulterers, slanderers, drunkards, party animals, etc. that are going to be affected by this law. Are you one of them? If you are, then you better change your ways because you have no right to be like this in the first place. If you are not, then why complain?

People might go and say, “Well we are born sinners, we have to sin.” But that is no excuse. I can’t go to court and tell the judge that I was born a sinner. We all make small mistakes. We all make minor sins. But in Shariah Law there are no punishments for minor sins, but for major sins. There is no excuse for us to commit major sins.

How many abortions are there?

How many children was born without knowing their father?

Also, this punishment isn’t applied simply, one way to prove it that you must bring 4 witnesses that have seen them committing adultery and that’s not easy unless you were doing it in public

So, really this is the justice by itself

Adultery punishment happened twice on the time of the prophet, and with consent and confession of the doer!

It never happened via four witnesses which means that in Islam confession of the fornicator is a must

Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him says: Avoid establishing penalties by doubts

Al-Baihaqi transmitted on the authority of ‘Ali (RAA) that he said, ‘Avert the prescribed punishment by rejecting doubtful evidence.’

Ward off the legal punishments as much as you can

The man to be stoned must come to confess otherwise no stoning

The prophet kept sending them away!

Insinuating if they did not do something then asked them to repent and not to expose themselves

If someone came and accused a woman or man of adultery

He or she must bring 4 eyewitnesses who actually saw the intercourse. Literally speaking…not even covered

It’s not easy to bring 4 witnesses who physically saw that

And if the accusers bring only 3 and accused the person.

The witnesses will be whipped 80 times because it would be considered a lie

Now where would you get 4 witnesses

Even if you saw and heard all the things that accompany the adultery …

this is not considered a proof

What’s the rule for this?

Allah says

“And those who accuse their wives [of adultery] and have no witnesses except themselves – then the witness of one of them [shall be] four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the truthful”

And the fifth [oath will be] that the curse of Allah be upon him if he should be among the liars.

And the fifth [oath will be] that the wrath of Allah be upon her if he was of the truthful.

If you have the guts to swear by Allah 5 times, go ahead

Now if the two swore, then no one will be punished, but these two will be separated as in divorced, and with other rulings of course

The thing most people don’t know is that, if there is a sin, and it has a punishment ..like adultery

If there is an Islamic ruling

As long as the news didn’t reach the caliphs

you won’t be punished

You can repent between you and yourself

People might ask you to repent etc.

but as long as it didn’t reach the caliph (we call the president/ruler), you’re safe

Muslim (1692)

narrated that Jaabir ibn Samurah said: I saw Maa‘iz ibn Maalik when he was brought to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), a short, well-built man who was not wearing a rida’ (upper garment).

He testified against himself four times, saying that he had committed zina=adultery, and the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Perhaps you (kissed her or embraced her)?” He said: No, by Allâh, this ignoble one has committed zina. So, he stoned him…

This man came to the prophet, and you can tell from the hadith that the prophet tried to put excuses for the man, yet he confessed and wanted to be punished!

“‘Abdullah b. Buraida reported on the authority of his father: There came to the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him a woman from Ghamid and said:

Allah’s Messenger peace be upon Him. I have committed adultery, so purify me. He turned her away. On the following day she said: Allah’s Messenger peace be upon Him why do you turn me away? Perhaps you turn me away as you turned away Ma’iz. By Allâh, I have become pregnant.

He peace be upon Him said: well, if you insist upon it, then go away until you give birth to (the child). When she was delivered, she came with the child (wrapped) in a rag and said:

Here is the child whom I have given birth to.

He peace be upon Him said: Go away and suckle him until you wean him.

When she had weaned him, she came to the Prophet with the child who was holding a piece of bread in his hand.

She said: Allâh’s Apostle, here is he as I have weaned him, and he eats food.

Prophet entrusted the child to one of the Muslims and then pronounced punishment.

And she was put in a ditch up to her chest and he commanded the people and they stoned her. Khalid Ibn El Walid came forward with a stone which he flung at her head, and their spurted blood on the face of Khalid and so he abused her.

Allâh’s Apostle heard Khalid’s curse.

Thereupon he said: Khalid, be gentle. By Him in Whose Hand is my life, she has made such a repentance that even it a wrongful tax collector were to repent, he would have been forgiven.

Then giving command regarding her, he prayed over her, and she was buried. “So, around only 5 people were stoned

“Those whom the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allâh be upon him) stoned for zina were well known and few in number, and their stories were recorded and are well-known. They were the Ghaamidi woman, Maa‘iz, the woman who committed adultery with the hired worker, and the two Jews.

End quote from at-Turuq al-Hukmiyyah (p. 53)

Regarding amputations, the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) cut off the hand of a male thief and a female thief

1-The stolen property should be something of worth, because that which is of no worth has no sanctity, such as musical instruments, wine, and pigs.

2-The value of the stolen property should be above a certain limit, which is three Islamic dirhams or a quarter of an Islamic dinar, or their equivalent in other currencies.

3-The stolen property should have been taken from a place where it had been put away, i.e., a place where people usually put their property, such as a cupboard, for example.

4-The theft itself has to be proven, either by the testimony of two qualified witnesses or by the confession of the thief twice.

5-The person from whom the property was stolen has to ask for it back; if he does not, then (the thief’s) hand does not have to be cut off.

If these conditions are fulfilled, then the hand must be cut off. If this ruling was applied in the societies which are content with man-made laws and which have cast aside the sharī’ah=Divine law of Allah and replaced it with human laws.

This would be the most beneficial treatment for this phenomenon. But the matter is as Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Do they then seek the judgement of (the days of) Ignorance? And who is better in judgement than Allâh for a people who have firm Faith” {Sûrah Al-Ma’idah 5:50}
