Paul preached the “Risen Christ” as opposed to the “historical Jesus” taught by the original disciples of Jesus Christ.

With 1 Corinthians 9:20-22 at the back of your mind an unbiased reader of the epistles of Paul would understand why Paul preached different and conflicting concept of God to the diverse Gentile communities he infiltrated.

He presented God Almighty and Jesus to each community depending on their traditional concept of God so do not be surprised if Paul’s concept of God in relation to Jesus’s in Romans is in conflict with his concept of God and Jesus in Philippians or his concept of God and Jesus is in disagreement with his concept of God and Jesus in Timothy.

All his tricks and devices were to rubbish the teachings of Jesus vouchsafed to the disciples in his desperation to win souls for the ” Risen Christ ” (not the historical Jesus).

Paul’s Confessions…

1 Corinthians 9:20-22 (NIV).

20. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law.

21. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from Godโ€™s law but am under Christโ€™s law), so as to win those not having the law.

22. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.
