If Allah is the owner of all things, why will he inherit? Whom will Allah inherit from?

Before responding to this question, we must remind the questioner that one of Almighty Allah SWT’s beautiful names is The First, originator, creator and many beautiful names indicate that No one before him

Starting from this fact, one must understand that when Almighty Allah is the real owner of everything, we will read some Quranic verses to help us understand the answer as well.

“And (remember) as your Lord said to the Angels, “Surely I am making in the earth a successor.”

Surah Al-Baqarah= Chapter the Cow (2:30)

From the above verse we understand that Almighty Allah decided to create Adam and His Children to inhabit the Earth, Generation after Generation succeeding each other.

Also, Almighty Allah says:

“We did indeed offer the Trust to the Heavens and the Earth and the Mountains; but they refused to undertake it, being afraid thereof: but man undertook it; – He was indeed unjust and foolish. “

Surah Al-Ahzab =Chapter the Combined Forced (33:72)

“He said to it and to the earth: “Come ye together, willingly or unwillingly.” They said: “We do come (together), in willing obedience.

Surah Fussilat=Chapter Explained in Detail (41:11)

Following many verses indicating that Almighty Allah SWT will inherit the Skies, Earth, and everything.

“It is We Who will inherit the earth, and all beings thereon: to Us will they all be returned.”

Surah Maryam=Chapter Mary (19:40)

“And let not those who covetously withhold of the gifts which Allah Hath given them of His Grace, think that it is good for them: Nay, it will be the worse for them: soon shall the things which they covetously withheld be tied to their necks Like a twisted collar, on the Day of Judgment. To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.”

Surah Al-Imran=Chapter family of Imran (3:180)

“And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away).”

Surah Al-Hijr= Chapter the Rocky tract (15:23)

“And how many populations We destroyed, which exulted in their life (of ease and plenty)! now those habitations of theirs, after them, are deserted, – All but a (miserable) few! and We are their heirs!”

Surah Al-Qasas=Chapter the stories (28:58)

“And what cause have ye why ye should not spend in the cause of Allah? – For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth.”

Surah Al-Hadid=Chapter the Iron (57:10)

From the above verses we can understand that humanity was entrusted with many things which had been given to them. So, when this world ends once the judgment day starts, this means that whatever they had will return to the original owner Almighty Allah the first who gave humanity everything.

In other words, whatever was given to people will be retrieved and be taken from them once they die.

No one will take anything with them except their good or bad deeds which will qualify them to inherit paradise or go to the hellfire. So, when we read the following verses talking about that Almighty Allah will inherit everything.

This means that we humans were allocated and given a TEMPORARY ownership of land, wealth, health, children, houses etc. For the purposes of being tested by Almighty Allah in what we are going to do.

So, when we read or hear the above-mentioned verses about Almighty Allah inherits skies, earth, and everything we understand the above answer which we just provided.

End of the answer for the original question.

Additional clarification about skies and earth free will in the following two verses:

“We did indeed offer the Trust to the Heavens and the Earth and the Mountains; but they refused to undertake it, being afraid thereof: but man undertook it; – He was indeed unjust and foolish. “

Surah Al-Ahzab =Chapter the Combined Forced (33:72)

“He said to it and to the earth: “Come ye together, willingly or unwillingly.” They said: “We do come (together), in willing obedience.

Surah Fussilat=Chapter Explained in Detail (41:11)

The Clarification:

Scholars of the Noble Qur’an clarification= Tafsir have two opinions about whether the skies and earth had possessed an autonomous thought process of their own and were asked. The first opinion is literally the skies and earth were offered the trust, but they refused to bear it and were afraid of it.

The other opinion that skies and earth were not offered trust literally. But Almighty Allah offered the trust in the form of an assessment between the heavy weight of the trust and the skies and earth’s ability to bear the trust and Almighty Allah knew that it would be heavier for them therefore they refused it.

In both situations when Almighty Allah can make skies and earth to possess an autonomous thought process of their own and ask them. A reader might jump right now and wonder how this can happen. Well, we humans already design robots and computers that can possess an autonomous thought process of their own and can make independent decisions, so why wondering about Almighty Allah’s ability to do so.–

Almighty Allah is the highest and most knowledgeable, and the attribution of knowledge to him is the safest.

Right from Almighty Allah and wrong from me and Satan
