Of those messengers, some of whom We have caused to excel others, and of whom there are some unto whom Allah spake, while some of them He exalted (above others) in degree.
We make no distinction between any of His messengers.
Note: The quote is a prayer of which Muslims recite and say, “We make no distinction between any of His (God’s) messengers.” (Notice the “His”, this is not God’s words) whereas the other is God saying He has caused some to excel the others.
There is no contradiction because Muslims do not “make no distinction between any of His messengers.”, not God. (Bow of Hak)
