Is there any religious disciplinary actions against sinners in Christianity or the laws of the Old Testament does not apply to Christians anymore?

Answer:

Let us start with ◄ Matthew 5:17 ►

New International Version
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

John 8:2-11 8:2 Early in the morning he was again in the temple, and all the people came to him. He sat down and taught them. 8:3 So the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman who was caught in adultery. 8:4 They put the woman in the middle and said to Jesus,

“Rabbi, this woman was caught in the act of committing adultery. 8:5 Moses in the law commands us to stone such women.

What do you think about it?” 8:6 They said this to test Him, so that they might find something to accuse Him of. But Jesus bent down and wrote with His finger on the ground. 8:7

And when they kept asking him, he got up and said to them, “If any of you has no sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8:8 Then he stooped down again and wrote on the ground. 8:9

But when they heard these words, they went one by one, starting with the eldest. Finally, Jesus was left alone with the woman who remained where she was. 8:10

Then Jesus got up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” 8:11 He answered, “Nothing, Lord.” Then Jesus said, “Neither will I condemn you. Go, and sin no more from now on.”

That is the cunning of the Jews in testing Jesus. Even if he brings an adulteress, the stoning of an adulteress cannot be carried out. because:

1. There is no male adulterer who admits to having committed adultery with that woman.

2. None of the Jews were witnesses of the adultery. and the minimum number must be 3 people or more.

3. The testimony will be more complete if there are witnesses who see the intercourse directly

Sadly, when talking about laws of the Old Testament that Prophet Moses was sent with, Christians think that those laws do not apply to them anymore.

It is not written about the law of adultery in the new agreement. The prohibition of adultery is only in the old covenant, which is one of the 10 laws of the statute. And as a good doer of the law, Prophet Jesus will surely do how the rules of punishment for adulterers.

But of course, there are provisions as long as you do not believe it. Prophet Muhammad imposed stoning which is the same ruling of the Old Testament. That is why Islam is the rectification of the corruption occurred to the Bible.

Christians feel that their sins have been redeemed by the crucifixion of Jesus…. even though in the book of revelation 21: 11 it says that humans are also punished for their actions so the atonement for sins is just nonsense

Revelation 20:11: Then I saw a great white throne and Him sitting on it. From Him the earth and the heavens vanished, and they were found no more.

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. Then open all the books. And also opened another book, namely the book of life. And the dead were judged according to their works, according to what was written in the books.

The following are the arguments between the laws of flogging and stoning: Allah exalted he says:

The woman who commits adultery and the man who commits adultery, then lash each of them a hundred lashes, and do not pity them and prevent you from (practicing) the religion of Allah, if you believe in Allah and the hereafter,

And (implementing) their spectacle by the spectacle of the believers. [An Nur/24:2] It is also mentioned in many hadiths. Among other things: The Prophet peace be upon him said.

Take it from me, take it from me. Allah has given them another way, namely unmarried people (fornication) with unmarried people, (the law is) 100 times and exiled for a year. As for those who are married (adultery) with a married person (the law) is 100 lashes and stoning. Also, the hadith below:

From Abdullah bin ‘Abbas, he said, Umar bin Al Khattab said, -while he was sitting on the pulpit of the Prophet peace be upon him -, “Verily Allah has sent Muhammad peace be upon him with al haq=Truth,

And sent down the Bible (Qur’an) to him. Then among what was revealed to him was the verse of stoning. We have succeeded, memorized it, and understood it. The Prophet peace be upon him has carried out (law) stoning, we also have carried out (law) stoning after him (died).

I’m afraid that if the time has passed for people, there will be someone who says, ‘We don’t find stoning in the book of Allah’, so that they will go astray because they have left an obligation that Allah has sent down.

Verily (the law) of stoning is indeed in the Book of Allah against people who commit adultery, even though he is married, from among men and women, if the evidence is established (obviously with four witnesses, ed.), or is proven to be pregnant, or confession.”

Allah knows Best.
